I believe Pinnacle will want to add as much vale to the sp as possible before selling out .

It will be a new beginning for AMTE and will open up the market in the USA as you say . Especially down south in the sunshine states . The sp will respond accordingly 👌

Northvolt estimate that in ten years time their order book for energy storage could exceed their orders for EV batteries . They believe that market could be worth $55 billion to Northvolt. See the Financial Times article I linked to in a previous post .

That is the market Pinnacle are buying into and that AMTE can target and take a big slice with the right backing and management. It's a huge world market .

Our government are going to have to give Pinnacle some big investment encouragement/incentives

otherwise AMTE will be the other side of the pond before you can say "pond life " being a description of our government if they don't come up with any incentives 😃 I do hope they will safeguard our battery industry and demonstrate that they are serious about green energy . They have to put their money where their mouth is ! .

There is of course competition in the market place but it's an ever changing field . Nothing stays static for long . AMTE have the expertise to manufacture batteries and will always be able to make batreries under licence. It's main IP is owned by Qinetiq , I believe. Like Britvic making Pepsi under licence there will be battery manufacturers making batteries for each other under licence in this ever changing industry . What is essential is to have the expertise and the facilities to mass produce . AMTE is on that pathway and has all the potential to be a major player .

There is the urgent global need to slow global warming with electrification and the use of non-fossil fuels . It's the whole world embarking on this project .

They would need to get some decent orders first .I think they will be using their contacts . The giga or mega factory can come later .

I think Pinnacle are acting like a classic Buyout company which is what they specialise in . Don't think they are acting on behalf of anyone else . They want to buy AMTE very cheaply because they realise that much more money will need to be invested to get the company on it's feet .

The sodium-ion battery market for green energy applications is the immediate market that they can target .

I can see them setting up a factory for sodium-ion batteries in a country where labour is cheap compared to the UK....unless they can make them with robots here in the UK . There's a big world market to crack here and I think price will be the key to opening it up . IMHO, DYOR , etc., etc ..👍

Most of AMTE'S assets are intangible so they would have great difficulty stripping anything 🙃

If battery manufacturers can also make smart systems I.e. computerised energy management systems for homes and commercial premises then that adds extra value . I'm sure AMTE will expand their horizons with the right backing and acquisitions . This is just the beginning.
