I probably know better than anyone just what you are going through right now.
I underwent a massive dose of melphalan followed by a stem cell transplant for multiple myeloma (an incurable blood cancer) more than 10 years ago, when I first bought into AFC. Since then I have been kept alive on CDT and VDT treatments, followed by two drug trial programmes.
A couple of months ago I was hoping that AB and his colleagues would make me enough money to leave a sizeable pile for my children to help get them on the property ladder. Having a low and compromised immune system with cancer, every winter flu put me in hospital with pneumonia for a few days and I seemed to be running out of time.
Being over 70, I am now self-isolating and my only significant concern is wondering just how I am going to manage to get safely to my next week's hospital appointment in London for blood tests and to collect my next month's supply of chemo drugs.
Unfortunately Life is what happens while you are making plans. But I've been very lucky to have had such a wonderful life.

Haggis, I was very happy to be able to buy in at 23p yesterday and see that as a good price for the longterm.

Even ITM is now down 30% from its recent high.

Haggis, You don't always see these larger buys. With the price going north in Europe and down in London I had to get back into the market, not expecting to see these low prices ever again. My order took 22 minutes to fill and appears as several smaller buys. I am way over-invested, but I believe that AFC has an exciting future for us all.

I am very pleased to note the appointment of GL to the Board. Top man and very impressed with his performance at the December meeting. I believe that my investment is in capable hands.

Yesterday I thought I should take some gains to use my CGT allowance by selling a tranche at 30p, only to watch the SP rocket to 38p before I could B&B them back into my holding. I thought I had given up on 100k of my shares, but it looks like I have a second chance. It's never over until the fat lady sings. After 10 years of patience, AB could soon be delivering the goods.

LSE shows 1.5 million shares bought at 25p or over for nearly £400,000 earlier in the morning, which looks interesting for tomorrow's SP.

I personally must admit feeling quite excited on returning home after the investors’ day on Friday. After 10 years of hopes and false dawns, we now have a product ready for commercialization. I would have liked to have had the opportunity to observe and listen to the containerized stack and battery unit with their doors closed, but I think the noise level was acceptable.
I can’t really add much to what has already been extensively reported from the event. Obviously there were some probing questions on the likelihood of orders arising from the invitation to possible clients on Thursday, but being commercially-sensitive information, Rennocks and the Board remained completely schtum. However, when most people had left, I was with a small group of investors talking to a Board member about possible orders and before heading for the Board meeting, he suggested keeping an eye out over the next two to three weeks, so we could possibly receive some positive news before the year end. It would be nice to see just one sale of an H-Power L20 and then on show at a Westfield (?) site somewhere.

I am delighted with the recent rise in SP but concerned that it is a tad frothy.It might be time to skim off some profit and see a few Sells to pay some bills.

I have persevered with my first purchases since 2010 and now just showing a sizeable profit. Not so lucky with my children's ISAs purchased at 20p.
I am still trying to obtain a copy of W H Ireland's broker note although I'm not sure that it has so much relevance just now. Looking forward to the shareholder day.

Although I sold a substantial holding in the 50s I bought back far too many more shares at 20p and now still nursing a considerable loss. Despite constant advice from my financial advisers to sell all my AIM shares I have slavishly held on to AFC. Perhaps now by the 6 December I will be breaking even and can enjoy sharing a celebratory drink with you all on that day.
