What happened to the 1M Ask at 27p while I just popped into the garge?

Anne, From my own viewpoint this recent rise has been long overdue, and as with most AIM shares we are always at the mercy of the insiders and anyone in the know. I'm not getting off now. BB, At least most people on this board keep their postings polite, despite their personal views.

I have been holding these shares for 15 years and at last have my first real glimpse of possible light at the end of the tunnel. Time for a repeat of the years between 2009-2011 when the SP went up 1200% on merely vague expectations. This is the most positive I have felt since I made my first investment.
Chippyo and Muscorum, Have most of the LTHs moved to another board somewhere? The silence is deafening.

After keeping the faith for more than 10 years, I think I can easily hold on for just a few more months to await the impact of Extreme E next year, and the potential for even a few more contracts before then. I've never been so positive.

Does anyone else use SaxoTrader as their brokerage? I am still waiting for them and Primary Bid to agree between them where my paid and receipted placing has gone. At least I am not sweating on the disappearance of a large placing like a few other forum members were able to make.

Malachi, You are absolutely right, but I chose to ask a professional to ensure that my big AIM holdings continue to qualify for BPR until my death. I'm not sure I'll be able to stay on top of all share movement and possible takeovers from my care home bed. Good luck with all your investments.

Malachi, They say that investing in AIM shares is not for widows and orphans and AIM exceptions can become very complex issues. My understanding is that just because your AIM shares qualify for BPR and you hold them for two years they could still lose IHT exemption later on. Do we know all what AFC will be invested in ten years from now? That's why I sought professional advice and and diversified big AIM gainers into smaller individual holdings.

It would be nice to have to worry about this if AFC shares increase in price too much.

Malachi, Not all AIM shares qualify for BPR; new shares come in and some leave, so if you are managing your own diversified IHT portfolio you are going to have to keep a regular eye on which ones continue to qualify, hence the need for a manager. Unless of course you leave all your money invested in just a few key shares, which could be more hair-raising than staying a over-weight LTH in AFC.

Years ago I looked at putting money into the Octopus EIS scheme but at the time it was way too expensive in terms of fees, management costs, etc.. Most of my AFC shares are in ISAs and after holding them for three years I have transferred some into an IHT AIM ISA portfolio (several options available) with low costs (1%?). I'm still waiting for the shares to reach my target prices when I will drop another £40,000 a year into our ISAs and thence into the IHT investments.

I was just stating that there was some heavy selling when the price increased 20% from the 16p offer.

Well done Aimillionaire. I got my order filled but a bit short of 250k. Up nearly 20% already.

I don't think we should be thinking ahead of ourselves. 2 billion shares @ 3.7p already gives us a market capitalization of over £77m, which is already fair value for where we are right now, until the market receives more news.

athansius, Without saying it in as many words, my financial advisers think I've lost the plot completely, holding all my AFC shares for over 10 years. My arteries have stopped responding after all this time.

Only RA's last 1.23m @ 28p to shift now.
