RE: is Boris going after Russias gold or not ?29 Mar 2022 17:18
Yawn. Sanctions were intended right target liquidations of gold bullion from the Central Bank. Nothing to do with a gold miner selling dore to a refinery for processing into bullion. Keep up.
Yes, the company is working fast and long to get alternative in place. I expect RNS very soon. Worst is more dore onsite that will be sold as soon as alternative sorted out.
And if someone buys the company into a non UK listed entity or takes it private, the problem is gone. Of course, peace breaks out and as Truss puts it, the most "crippling" sanctions will go. Then Gazprombank is back in play so just suspend the debt / offtake until then.
Plenty of workarounds to that which the co is implementing. Probably makes very little difference to cashflow given sales don't happen daily. They'll simply accumulate slightly more dore in the gold room and sell via different bank or direct to refinery.
Talks going through the night but right noises being made and de-escalation on the battlefield is a good start (relatively speaking). Talks continue tomorrow. Turkish President will put them all in a headlock until they sign.
POG CEO, BD, IR guys are from Highland Gold that sold to Fortiana Holdings for over £1bn - a private gold miner in Russia. So they'll find a way to get the business valued right. No rookies to the country and M&A.
Always been a target by the locals ever since sp dived in 2014. You can trace this company's problems back to then. When the sp is weak, esoteric institutions take the opportunity.
Good to see these clips clearing yet Bid rising. Very healthy for the market and continued push higher, which MMs gearing up for. Big buyer(s) in the background might TR1. I'm of the view it's being bought up for a takeover.
Quite sure he said his target to buy was 1.5p last week and then confirmed he'd bought at that price today. 1.6p is a little more believable but letz be honest, he was caught pantz down. :)
Phew it's a good job the market gave a **** about LordNazs imaginary 10m shares. Particularly satisfying to just maturely hold. You can only do that if you understand the stock and can analyse information. Sounds simple but it's a skill only successful investors possess.
This stuff only works if the buyer of this stock - and I'm of the view there's group(s) now accumulating for a takeover - play the game. Profit takers gone, buyers won't sit around to satisfy a chart.
