Core Scientific increased R&D spend to $3.3M in Q1 2022 and with AI already part of their business one could easily presume they are also looking for tech breakthroughs in that area.

Do the Professor and his QBT R&D teams have the ability to disrupt the Bitcoin mining sector ? Maybe they do...

Then QBT's Professor CEO announces AI/ Quantum BTC mining and say's:

Moores Law and the Samsung news is more of an issue for BTC mining companies that have begged, borrowed and stolen $100's of millions over the past two years to build out new facilities and attempted to fill them up with rigs. These mining companies are selling down HODL's in an effort to meet financial obligations with worrying operational costs arising from a struggling BTC price, potential future power supply rises and regulatory concerns.

FG stated he wasn't going down that mining route where price gouging and brute force were not a cost effective business model.

Chip & Algorithm advancements, the use of AI and Quantum Technologies is where the future is...

Bitfarms being able to sell their HODL means they were not locked into Celsius (a sort of good news for Birfarms imo)

I feel like the gun is loaded in three chambers ! (number of miners I'm holding)

My thinking was that Core sold those coins to cover cost of miner deliveries at that time, which included the Argo rigs.

I'm hoping we will see some clarity from miners in June updates but suspect those with something to hide will keep their heads down (if there are any)

For me the question is which BTC miners have been using their HODL to create yield and have been caught out by the Luna, Celcius and 3AC collapses.

I'm sure at couple of them boasted about earning yield on their crypto...

The sh.t will hit the fan if they have lost that crypto

btcpool uses different letters as block references ie qbtcpool so doesn't look like it's anything to do with QBT.

qbtcpool mined an 'unknown' block in May and one in June....

A search for QBT on Blockchair throws up 10 blocks mined results two of which are by qbtcpool:

Pretty sure if QBT had mined two blocks, one in May and one in June we would have known about it so assume it's not us...

Easy to check unknown blocks using this link. Obviously wishful thinking that QBT could mine a block straight off the bat (when they announce active mining) but checking this list is a bit like checking the Euro Millions numbers you never know...Although I suspect we would see sudden buying from Italians who's surname was Gardin and all of the R&D teams family on signs of success.

All BTC miners are under extreme pressure with obvious cost to mine stress, planned expansion debts/obligations and BTC halving within two years now asking questions about their ability to remain solvent if financial conditions hold BTC down that long..

QBT could really land the spoils IF they can deliver the goods

Bitcoin at these lows is no bad thing for QBT (imo)

If results are good they are more likely to get noticed if the BTC miners are all under extreme pressure due to their high cost to mine models.

QBT use PRN for news release rather than RNS. I was informed by Leander PR that this has always been the case due to the cost of PRN's being lower whilst still being an official new release.
