Its a matter of timing ..if you bought POG at 6p odd you have done well, very well to get 30p!

A gold miner may not have been taken back but they did take back a property in Sakhalin from either BP or Shell back in mid 2000s. They were however given a fair price for the asset.

I did suggest that the Moscow listing originally said to be good for us... was to move POG out of London..

You know having done the AMC thing.. I sold 239k at 3p to cover my total costs last year & give me a net profit on all of my then holding remaining of 600k.. yep n I sold the another 300K at 17p so I am still in..
But once again it is the ramping & abuse (not that that bothers me) that tells me to sell.. too much deja vu!
There was a ramper & abusive contributor on AMC iii board.. he bought all the way up to 40+p and bought all the way down to 22p he then disappeared... without a trace. One of his last posts (bugle) regretting he didnt sell at 43ishp and bought in again at 22p but the SP now is 2.5p .. I still hold 100k of AMC
I wish all those decent commenters here all the best.. the others.. a pox on them!

I am now enjoying a free ride and have been since last year when I sold 239,000 at 3.1p.. yes 3.19 p so some of you may have taken advantage of that..?.. leaving me then with 600,000 free n clear but in my account the balance of my shares still shows a cost of 0.55p

Bizarre!

The death rate so far has been above the 5 year average the death rate per thousand in the UK is 9.4%.. however if you check out the death rates since 2000 https://www.statista.com/statistics/281478/death-rate-united-kingdom-uk/ you will see that the recent peak was in 2000 a rate 0f 10.4 per thousand and a trough of 8.7 in 2011 but since then the rate has been rising and unless there are no disasters between now n the end of the year the death rate this year will coincide roughly with the death rates of 2000 & 2003 of 10.4/3 deaths per thousand
