Jan 29th ''Financial speculators have created a bubble in palladium that’s bad for the industry, according to MMC Norilsk Nickel PJSC, the world’s biggest producer of the metal.
Nornickel is planning to take steps to ease market tightness by shifting sales to more investment-grade bars, instead of the powdered form used by industrial consumers, according to Anton Berlin, head of analysis and market development. He declined to provide exact figures of how many bars would be produced.
“The market has formed the bubble,” Berlin said in an interview in Moscow. “Underlying industrial demand is not evolving as quickly as the price move seems to indicate.”
Yes ever bear market is followed by a bull.. but the question is when? The USA was in depression/recession until WWII broke out!
Having just returned from Waitrose, a queue of 2 , there was more traffic on the roads than I have seen previously in recent weeks maybe the people are going to ignore the government and reduce the severity of the recession!
There is only going to be one buyer of us should we decide to sell, Norilsk. And once again I am convinced that the suspension is nothing to do with social media or CITIC but to prevent any other buyer coming onto the scene. But I still believe should we sell we will be given a fair price!
