PPC aren't up today, but then they haven't lost any value either, so I guess in a way it feels a bit of a success, like England celebrating the draw in Sydney.

The Paraguay drilling will hopefully be in May or June, as I believe rain stops play in Paraguay from Nov-April. The estimate is that there is 230 million barrels of Pmean unrisked original oil in place. Now if PPC can find a way to get that out of the ground, the SP will definitely be going up....

You would imagine that there should be an update on the Triche well soon....

Mary-Rose de Valladares (Independent Non-Executive Director) purchased 93,750 ordinary shares of 0.2 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") on 4 January 2022 at a price of 80 pence per Ordinary Share. Following the purchase, Mary-Rose de Valladares now has a beneficial interest in 93,750 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.29 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.

Barclays ISA is not showing any for me yet

Paraguay is a lottery ticket but one with a 33% chance of success (or thereabouts anyway). It's not a guaranteed jackpot, but better odds than a Euromillions ticket

Agreed NorthernM, here's hoping 2022 is going to be President's year. A couple big strikes in Salta & Paraguay ought to do it and then we can have a big £1 party! Hahaha! Nothing is impossible, let's keep our fingers crossed & see....

Logged on to my ISA today and was good to see next to my PPC holding the text, "Ex Div: 30/12/21"

Maybe this can become an annual or semi-annual thing! (or not). ;-)

If they announce this week, then the IPO could well be next Weds or Thurs, and mid-Dec is on....

This is a big announcement for PPC and us shareholders. I want to find out how many shares we will be getting! Based on a £45M IPO, I reckon every share held in PPC will get a dividend share worth 1p in Atome, but that's before any dilution by the primary bid announced today, so that reduces it a bit. I'm hoping this will be game changing and brilliant news for us all, but am ready to feel underwhelmed when I know all the details as surely some unknown factor will make this have less impact.

I'm confident in this IPO being brilliant for PPC and us, confident as Rory Burns striding out to the Gabba to face the 1st ball in the Ashes... PPC gonna hit this for six surely......

I remember quite a few years ago now (probably at the time of the 1st Paraguay drill) that President staff were given huge share bonuses but it was dependent on the SP. I can't remember the details but it was x millions shares to be issues once the SP hit £1, and the y amount of shares to be issues if/when the Sp hit £1.20, and then z at £1.40 or something like that. I remember thinking then that the issue of shares was overly generous but if the SP was £1+ I wouldn't complain too much!!

Haha! Needless to say, these share options expired and these shares were never issued

Re: Atome IPO- if the whole market is getting jittery about the next omicron wave and fearing an oil price crash like the 1st round of COVID, there might be an argument for delaying the IPO till a more favourable time, i.e. early next year

Operations a little behind schedule but we suspected that anyway. Timeline -wise 3 months slippage is not so bad for a company that was going to drill in Paraguay by hook or by crook in 2018 (now 2022), and was going to confirm the Paraguay farm-out partner in April this year (found out a few weeks back).

I had feared that Louisiana would be a failure and Salta would be a miss, so I am pleasantly surprised by the RNS this morning. Will be better once the Triche well is back online, and production commences in Salta so we can see the actual production figures. Expect a bigger reaction from the market when the wells are online and the increase to BOPD can be confirmed.

Due approximately end of November is, an update on the Triche well fix in Louisiana, spudding in Salta, Argentina and the Atome IPO submission with details of the in-specie distribution. Here's hoping that they are not like buses and turn up all at once. One tomorrow, one Thursday and one next week would be the best split to help the continuous good news have the maximum effect on the SP.

Looks like the RNSs will be December rather than November. In this modern rushy world full of instantaneous gratification, good old PPC is reminding us of forgotten values of patience, perseverance, and even more patience. What an upstanding company!

The recent SP rise due to both Atome and Paraguay getting a lot closer is great, a good result at Salta is important for momentum. If everything starts going right then we'll be justified in ramping this SP up as high as possible.

Just don't mention the chinese pumps!! (Is any provision for compensation for these still on the BS? I think not, think President gave up on that a while ago).

for 2.43p at 11:39 and the SP hasn't moved (yet). That could be a good sign showing the underlying support of the SP at this level, or it could be a bad sign and more sells will come in later and drop the SP, or it could just be a trade that doesn't particularly signal anything.

Looking ahead to tomorrow nights game, Leeds vs Palace, and I reckon Leeds could win, lose or draw. If I have any more insightful tips, I'll keep them to myself!
