Agreed that the CGC tranches of shares have held down the SP. They've managed to get a lot more shares than they would have been expecting too. Let's hope they hold them for the long term. Happy that's the last tranche, maybe now the SP can start an upwards trend....
Northern- I think a big success with Atome or in Paraguay should see the SP go many multiples. But that's next year or beyond. By end of this year good news with water logging to reverse decline rates, oil treatment plant to add $4 per barrel in savings, and a success in the exploratory drilling of 3 wells in Argentina in Q4; should be enough to double the SP from here.
*My optimistic estimates based on operations being successful of course
so hopefully June's figures will be available soon. Hopefully they will show more increases for both oil & gas.
just went through for £20k's worth at 2.45p. Few more of those pls should help the SP
Both oil and gas increasing month-on-month, March, April, May, but both oil & gas slightly below the December production figures. To get the SP moving, PPC need to up these figures....
Thanks for those figures Razoba. 9053 m3 = 56,942 barrels of oil. May has 31 days = 1837 BOPD in May.
That's not bad. Means including Louisiana oil production is over 2000 BOPD
Treatment plant was supposed to be up & running by end of June, so hopefully we'll get an RNS confirming that it's fully operational soon.
Final- after such a cracking start, England got more nervous and defensive. They should have tried for a 2nd. Hanging on to a 1 goal lead was never going to work. I can't remember Kane having a shot. So disappointing. And penalties?!?! What's with all the stuttering run-ups? Rubbish!
2.5M shares traded so far this morning. If only PPC could turn these volumes every morning & afternoon, then we could breakout of this trading cycle (assuming buys >sells of course)
Taverham- you're probably correct. The initial IPO would probably be high, but I mean in a few years when the projects are underway, are successful and producing x amount of hydrogen then the SP will be sky high (hopefully)....
I do get the feeling that in say 3 or 4 years time, Atome could be a much bigger and more successful company than President Energy! Let's hope that people buy into PPC for the free shares we should get in Atome. Also of course as PPC will keep % control of Atome, any success there will be great for PPC's balance sheet.
All systems go! Also, I'm impressed that Atome are in Europe as well as the Americas. Having both projects is really good.
Very good recap, thanks ComeonVOG. So many different irons in the fire, one of them should strike it lucky! Really hope (and think this could be) the start of a transformational 12 months for PPC. There has of course been enough false dawns before, but....
Of the irons in the fire some will definitely happen, like the treatment plant coming online soon, and others have more risk involved, like 30% chance of drilling success in Paraguay.
Ask on the secondary market is now at 2.5p. Fingers crossed for SP rises and blue days ahead....
Here's hoping for another blue finish today, and again tomorrow. Some decent volume too is needed in order to move out of this cycle and into 3p+
Brent is now $77, highest for 3 years, PPC should announce treatment plant completed soon, maybe news of Atome's potential spreads, (believe we are due another RNS from them soon), hopefully this is enough to attract more investors, and the SP can lift-off, then it's the start of oil E&P work in H2. Lots of irons in the fire. Oh, and there's Paraguay too, we might find out who the NOC is.
Seems like Atome can't be anything other than good for President, and us shareholders then. Really would be nice to get a significant amount of shares free. Could leave them in my ISA for 5 years and hope Atome really does go places
https://www.atomeplc.com/
President shareholders will be invited to buy shares in Atome when it's listed. Also, we 'might' be given some in-specie shares. I hope we are given some free shares, maybe this will be structured as the dividend that PPC wanted to pay us for the last few years
The Paraguay farm-out deal that was going to be in April, was signed in June. Maybe the 2 Atome announcements that are going to be made in June, will be made in July or August?
I had hoped that before any Paraguay announcement PPC would have been 3p on gas workovers & higher O&G prices, and that a good deal in Paraguay would've taken the SP from 3p to 4p.
I'm actually very pleased that PPC have managed to sign a deal for a farm-out in Paraguay. Be good to have another shot there. Just very frustrated with the lack of SP movement.
The NOC is from the Northern Hemisphere. Let's just hope it's not an oil company from Venezuela or Cuba
AParky, you shouldn't make jokes like that; There's two diverse projects that Atome will tell us about in June, a loan from Alpha or IYA at "mates rates" might well be part of the funding....
Atome is a subsidiary of PPC. Any money from here will be reported on PPC's balance sheet. Atome has a BoD taking salaries and 2 workstreams/projects underway that they will give us details on soon. This has to be funded somehow. The deal sounds a little bit incestuous to be fair, but at least the fundings not coming from share dilution.
Maybe PPC should only run ops that t can fund itself out of it's "cash generating business", but if this funding speeds things up and helps Atome succeed it might be a good thing for PPC's SP, (even if PL is taking a generous cut for himself again)
That RNS covered a few things:
Las Bases & EV gas - 3 wells, on time, under budget, producing more than expected, and gas prices up- so that's all good.
By end of June, the oil treatment plant should be up & running- again all good.
Salta drilling and seismic programme in H2 - if they can have the same success with oil as they've had with gas that should give the SP a boost
Paraguay- delays to signing the doc- but agreement still expected, and delay in signing won't affect drilling time-line next year. So that's reassuring.
