Adrian Hargrave, CEO of SEEEN, explains how the new funds will accelerate customer growth Watch the video here.
Agreed this was never going to have a huge effect on the company's valuation, but it's good to see work being done on time, in budget and increasing production. All signs of a well run company.
The quote at the end, "All other material workstreams .... are on track and proceeding in accordance with expectations" for me is the best bit of the RNS. It's PPC and jam tomorrow, but, at the same it does feel like it's closer and more probable.
Drilling was expected to start by end of March, so should get an RNS on this soon.
"The first well to be drilled will be LB-1002 in the Las Bases field as previously announced. It is a gas well targeting the Centenario formation with a target depth of 1,300 metres, time to drill is estimated at 10 days and a projected cost of US$1.4 million. As indicated in the previous announcement, President projects 40,000 m3/d (1.4 MMsft/d or circa 230 boepd) initial production."
Thanks- missed this as I'm not on Twitter (although do sometimes check the tweets President post on their website). Good to see progress being made, let's hope for a flow of RNS confirming successes with these workovers
AParky- Which well are you talking about? LB-1002 in Las Bases? Out of curiosity, where can you see how shallow it is, or the JCB being used?
On Atome, the only news that I can see that could be released would be plans for future action. Still would be nice to know more about this. Find out their terms of engagement, road map of work for 2021. I think this is very important for PPC, the Green dollar, responsible investing etc. If Atome can achieve something could have a very real impact on the SP
I can get a price to sell 1M shares on Barclays but can only get quotes to buy very small amounts. This is looking like it's gonna be a good day....
Nearly all the Buys are 100k or 200k tranches so it does suggest that it is one Buyer here who is taking up a position. Also, if 200k is the maximum number of shares you can buy in one go, that's a good sign, means a small amount of buying could have (is having) a big impact on the SP.
Comeonvog- great work buying at 1.465p, lowest I got was 1.55p . PPC it seems have everything lined up to increase production in gas and oil in Argentina, but that's been the msg from the board for a while now, so hopefully this is the time when they start to deliver some good actual results. Paraguay- could be huge, that's been the case since 2014, hopefully the can re-start that. Atome and green energy, is insignificant now, but could be a catalyst to attract different investors.
Lots of 'ifs' and 'maybe in the future' but hey ho, if all these things do work out it would make anyone buying in now very rich. Fingers crossed it does all work out....
IFC selling 100 million shares was the catalyst for the drop from 4p to 1.2p, so if they could be persuaded to buy back in, maybe the SP would retrace to 4p?
I'm being a bit flippant about IFC, but it is a good point, that having a renewable energies dept/child company could attract Institutional Investors ,that could now add PPC to their funds. II's buy in big chunks, so if Goldman Sachs, or Blackrock or whoever were to get involved it would really help the SP
"Atome Limited, a new alternative energy subsidiary formed to focus on developing a hydrogen and ammonia production business"
I don't know anything about this child company, and I'm guessing no-one does because they haven't done anything yet, but maybe this is a very good box for PPC to tick. Last year IFC sold out their 100Million share holding in PPC because they only want to invest in ethical companies E.g. Renewable energy. Somebody should give IFC a call and tell them that President are now a 'green' company and that they can invest in PPC again. If IFC wanted to buy back their 100 million shares, it could give the SP a boost.
Good spot Comeonvog; "The Company expects to drill record number of new wells this year in drive to produce more reserves" - I'd missed that part of the news. That would be great if it happens and super smashing great if it's all fully funded from cash flow. Hopefully we will find out some of the details about this on Monday.
NorthenM- I think that the yesterday's close of 2.61 was a miscalculation, the bid was 2.6 and ask 2.85 so the actual SP was 2.725. PPC had a good rise last week, then Monday & Tuesday a little step back/consolidation with people top-slicing and short-term traders taking profits, before a decent rise yesterday. Based on my gut feeling now about current market sentiment, plus charts, price of oil, I expect another decent rise today and again tomorrow. Predictions are just a guessing game, but for what it's worth, I expect the SP to break 3p at some point tomorrow.
Then let's see what Monday brings...... GLA
I think the recent price rise is more likely to be related to the price of oil, and as per the figures Krth shared a few days back the SP should rebound to 4.2p a share for PPC to be valued the same as 2 years ago. However, rather than a wishywashy "jam tomorrow" statement on Monday, it would be good to know the 2020 avg production, 2020 exit rate, projected BOEPD for 2021 and the split between oil & gas.
Rising Brent, and increased production in Argentina so that total group production is aprox 5000 BOEPD, should be enough to get the SP to 5p+, and that should be do-able this year. How many pence could Paraguay add to the SP??? Wouldn't it be nice to find out....
Thanks for the tip AParky, will keep an eye on PANR. Figures crossed PPC can deliver a good update next Monday and keep the upward momentum here, the past few weeks has really felt like PPC are on the up, really hoping it continues....
coming in the next year or so as part of the next oil super-cycle according to JPMorgan & Goldman Sachs https://www.ft.com/content/f87ce114-f437-4c3f-bb73-fa38ca78146b
Over 8.5 Million shares traded by midday Monday. In quieter times, there wouldn't have been that volume traded in a week. Suggests that something is happening, interest in PPC is increasing. Good signs I reckon...
SP going up today, if there's a week of blue days next week then I would expect there to be some good news on Monday 22nd which will hopefully take the SP up a level or two....
Thanks KRTH. Makes it easy to see written down like that. For PPC to be valued the same as it was in March 2019, the SP would be 4.2p
I think by most metrics, PPC are doing better today than they were 2 years ago. E.g. BOEPD, debt, gas/oil diversification, etc etc
Normal days trading is 1-2 million shares. Today over 8 million shares traded. I'll re-read the RNS, I thought it was underwhelming and didn't tell us anything we didn't already know. Maybe I've missed something, regardless, very happy to see such demand and a good price rise.
Few more days like this please....
Buys now at 2.3475
