Be interesting to see how far this SP can rise quickly if JBER can take the handbrake off. Some more good news and we might find out.....
Agreed if the II selling is finished now the SP here can start to move up on good news. IFC are out, hopefully then the II selling is done. And PPC do have good news to tell. If I was working for PPC I would be realeasing an RNS for every bit of good news now. Each well reworking, every time new oil / gas is brought online. Shout it out. Maximise all publicity. Swing opinion back in favour of PPC.
Paraguay news by end of year? It's only Christmas parties after mid Dec, which means that if a deal is to be signed this year it's likely to be done in the next 4 weeks.
Evevry dog has it's day yes? E.g. This season Everton, Leicester, Spurs and even Saints have been top of the Premiership. Goodness knows PPC has been a dog of a share over the last 10 years, but maybe, just maybe it can rise expontentially now on a stream of good news.....
Northern- Good spot. Interview is worth listening to. President's capabilities have significantly increased. Hopefully this results in increased production and a better SP.

We knew it was IFC getting out but still good to see the confirmation. IFC got out because of a change of investment strategy moving away from fossil fuels, they did not sell out because of President's failings or lack of faith in the upside here. (Although there arguments for both of these too of course).
The good news here is that somebody wanted to buy the best part of 100Million shares.
This might just be the correction after the 'blip' of falling to 1.25, and tomorrow the SP stays in this range. However, Ask on the Secondary market is already 1.75 so that bodes well for another rise. No idea how big the correction will be but would love to see this keep going up, fingers crossed
Good Luck All....
@Leftleg - Thank-you for the link
Really good to hear PL. He sounds annoyed with Berenberg for how they are trading the IFC departure. and the impact that's having on the SP. No more placings coming up. PL is not taking it Private. No hidden bad news. the SP is due to IFC selling out, due to their mpove away from fossel fuels.
I'm happy with those answers. Nice to see PL with some spirit there. Hopefully this is just "a blip", the IFC shares can be cleared soon and the SP can be rise like a phoenix.
This may be the bottom, or the SP might fall a little bit more 1st before it can start increasing. My avg is too high for me to see a ROI anytime soon, but I'll leave my shares in my ISA for a few more years & keep hoping they come good. For anyone who gets in near the bottom, there will be a chnace to make some very good money on the rebound play
2 RNS's released. Costs per barrel down. Production (combined Oil & Gas) up. Debt paid down. Drilling means extra 1028 BOEPD coming online start of November. Prices received per barrel down, but considering PPC have weathered COVID and the lowest price of oil just about ever, they've done okay there too. Louisiana production constant. Rio Negro reserves increaased.
All in all a better H1 than I had thought.
Avg BOEPD for 2020 likely to be 2800-3000, with a 70/30 split between Oil & Gas. So aprox avg of 2100 barrels of Oil per day. The Roadmap published in 2018 had Oil production increasing to 4000 by end 2019, and 7500-8000 by end 2020. Maybe with a bit of stability, they can in the future achieve this (albeit a few years late).
Interesting a figure was put on the Paraguay. 230 Million barrels of oil hey??!!? Now if they can get that out of the ground this SP might get moving. I'd say I wouldn't bet on it, but d'oh looks like I already have. Haha!
A reminder that Peter Levine (Chairman) and Rob Shepherd (Group FD) will soon present the unaudited Interim Results for H1 2020 on Monday 26th Oct at 11:00am via the Investor Meet Company platform. We look forward to your participation!

Aparky- Those RNS's take me back! If only PPC still had the same amount of shares in issue as back then.
Worrying thing; what are the intentions of the IFC? Were the 5.5M and 2M sells all the sells for now? They still hold 98M shares. If they are closing their position here, that's a long way to go yet.
Current Market Cap is £31M, @1.5p a share. So 2p a share the Market cap would be 31M * 2/1.5 + £41M (aprox).
To get to 2p a share, we just need a few more people buying shares. The output from PPC is already worth that by any fair value calculation (I recokon).
Selling? Unfortunately I've been here for years so my average is much too high to make it even worth considering at these levels.
$40 a barrel is for Oil. The 588 BOEPD is Gas. Worth significantly less (although with Oil prices being low these days, the difference is smaller).
588 additional barrels of Oil per day would be worth a few pennies on the SP (which at these stupidly low levels would double it). The next well is the Exploritory one. This is one that could strike oil. Let's hope it does. PPC could do with some good fortune...
Production figures for 1st half of 2020 will be released at the end of this month.
In 2019, PPC produced 801,392 barrels of Oil, and a little bit of Gas. The avg daily Oil prodction for 2019 was then 2196 BOPD. But due to events in 2019, E.g. wells being shut, workovers coming online in 2nd half of 2019, flooding in Louisiana etc, a better figure to use for the 2020 projections would be the 2019 YE Exit daily production figure. Then of course COVID happened, oil price crash so modelling anaylsis is a lot less accurate than in normal years.
Ps. NicetoMichu- That's a great idea for Trafigura to buy £500k worth of shares. Probably buying that amount in the open market would take the SP back to 4-5p (say- that's just a wild guess), and in doing so that would increase the value of Tarfigura's holding by multiples of £500k. Win-win really. Have you any contacts on the Board that you can mention this to?
In fairness the RNS is good news. Drilling success, on time and on budget and it's looking like an additional 588 BOEPD. That's a significant amount for a company which can currently produce c. 4000 BOEPD when all wells are on, (but has actually produced closer to 200 BOEPD for 1st 1/2 of 2020).
On time, on budget, increased production and the SP falls. Go figure....
The additional 588 BOEPD is Gas. PPC need to start adding those barrels of Oil if the SP is to go up significantly. The drilling rig is now preparing to move to the previously announced exploration well EVN-1, please, please can it get a big Oil strike there, and put a rocket up this Share Price.
Agreed NicetoMichu. This is a decent start, will be nice once we've broken through 2p. The SP touched 2p (Ask side) when the 1st wells preliminary results were released on 3rd Sept. There's now been confirmation of these results, and more good news on other wells so would have thought the SP would be 2p+ by now.
But on the other hand so far it's just been Gas. Big increases will come when/if PPC can up it's Oil production. There's workovers and exploration wells to come. Fingers crossed that these can go extremely well....
Good to see Blue today & hopefully the SP can keep on going up....
No, I'm a Bournemouth fan. All about seaside sides beginning with B that can drop down a division or 2, maybe!
Or Blackpool, sorry AParky. I don't know why i thought of PNE. I meant Blackpool.
PL is a Leeds fan, most of PPC's assets are in Argentina, Biesla is Argentinian so there's a certain amount of overlap which helps makes sense of this. It's not PNE, but hey ho, sometimes you have to take what you can get
Very positive RNS out today. I thought we would see a decent SP rise on the back of it. Hmmm......
