John this question was asked by Max a while ago they only responded at 5am this morning. So it may only just have been agreed. All these pieces have to be carefully written into an RNS this may in itself be one of the final touches. Remember once completed it has to be approved and to fair to all we don't know what stage we are with that.

Early hours answer from TPDC with regards to the disputed amount as asked by Max on twitter. "The matter was thoroughly discussed between TPDC amd Aminex and the resolution was officially shared with Aminex, pls contact Aminex for further details. Thanks" This news on this I imagine, no I will expect to be included in the coming RNS assuming the company have reached agreement. Things are moving hopefully this resolution was positive and another piece of the jigsaw that is coming together

Very weird behaver on there. It was bouncing all over the place until 16:45 and yet no trades have shown up. Seems to have settled flat

A comparison picked up from another BB where the company has recently announced a farm-out

"JOG's shares were trading at about 35p when it was announced in August 2016 a farm-out to Statoil had been agreed, subject only to the usual clearances. Nothing happened to the share price, which I found surprising. When it was announced 2 months later that the agreement had been signed, the share price immediately more than doubled and then carried on up."

We have the EGM notice about to come out this week, we are told and many of us expect that to signify and indeed include notice that the licence has been granted. Personally, I would be looking for a decent uplift on the back of that alone but the best news right now of course would be successful remediation at Kilwani but given that above quote regards JOGS farm-out

Do you think assuming all goes to plan between now and the eventual farm-out completion date that we could expect a similar doubling following that completion?

I don't know the details of that JOG deal but there maybe some long timers around that are able to put it together and see how we might compare?

I had done my calculation based on the drill depth as you will see and I missed the fact the author had taken out the down time dates between 1st & 26th November. Apologies to all

The detractor in chief finally admits there are "LOTS OF DIFFERENT DIFFICULTIES TO CONTEND WITH" the fool is quite right for once in his life, there are difficulties whenever you deal with a government, either now or twenty years ago and it makes little difference. However as Tanzania pointed out, having just sussed out a major western corporation defrauding the country, it is not surprising that the government are being extra careful over matters at the moment.

Thanks Edgar, hope all is well, the chart that was linked may've been bogus but it didnt appear so, will have to trawl back for the link later.. Having just read further it is clearly 25 days to first target which should indeed be this week sometime assuming you were informed immediately the repairs took place. I say assuming! So can anyone clear up the R1 target depth for me please? Or perhaps point me to the logs? I can't find the info on the mobile site Because together with the 600mtr restart on drill resumption date after a month of drilling in October that is not even a quarter way to full depth target 2700m supposedly complete in 64 days.

Ok Barking if that's how you feel we take our decisions but this is from the RNS "Drilling recommenced at a depth of 660 metres, and AAOG expects to reach TD toward the end of December." The chart I read was on link on here either Monday Tuesday or Wednesday last week it contained a schedule of days and it worked out as I said. You either believe or not but I choose to look at facts in front of me rather facts of somebodys opinion but God luck to you, if you are right I shall end up paying a little more

Followed a link here the other day out-lining the drill schedule and given the depth the drill restarted, it seemed fairly clear on that chart that R1&2 target wouldn't be reached until around 28th 29th December. Supported by the RNS that stated before end of December. I haven't seen early or mid December mentioned by the Bod but may have missed it. On the basis of this I was planning a pre Christmas plunge but this GM disturbs me in that they are already covering their ass in case of failure. I understand why they would want to do that but I think I shall have to watch and wait a little longer. If it costs me more to buy later then so be it.

Fair points gl but it's not the gut feeling I get and as said I hope I'm not proved wrong. If TZ give wanted to ensure funding for the project they could surely have cut a deal with the Zubairs behind our backs in the first place that cut out the need for farm-out. Many here seem to think it's been played this way to force the farm-out and to go through all the rigmarole that has taken so long, would seem like an expensive pointless excercise to me. I just don't feel it.

Tbh GL I think they would have done that at these silly prices rather than wait to see it increase. I hope I'm not proved wrong but I get the feeling they will honour the arrangement
