Spike 13 mtrs extra is one third increase in expectation. I would say David had every right to be excited. If the sp gies up the same 33% today I think everyone here will be excited too.

An aggregate 13 metres of oil columns across the new horizons identified between the R3 and the Mengo horizons in three layers of sandstones between 1473mMD and 1685,5mMD With seismics proving extremely accurate on targeted zones, go find an en extra 13 mtrs of payzones out if a total 44 mtr is fabulous. Around a third more than expected :0))

Yes I have to admit I'd like some more news on KW as the licence now looks after itself. Confirmation that lower perforation is happening or about to happen is good but having an updated time frame would've been nice to go with it.

IG in wanting to know more about my board and whether I can trust them, can you show me where they have lied? i.e. point (link) me to a specific documented case please.

Personally from what I have seen they have been very open about the potential forms of financing here and that they have options and will decide at a later date (on results)

Judging by the smile on his face I hazard a guess the RNS may bring news that would make financing options more favourable than perhaps were before.

The EGM was late because they expected to have the licence before hand that is blatantly obvious but everyone felt we weren't being given it until the shareholders had ratified. Well, whether that is reality or not that potential barrier as said, is no longer an excuse that can be used by those on here or the BOD

Any further delays now are entirely down to the ministers office but I don't feel there is any reason for extra pessimism. I see that the company have done all they can and they have been honest as I have always thought.

The situation still remains that that licence could drop any day without warning. I expect it to come soon and that's a personal feeling and that's why I feel it is a risk to go playing away.

Remember, their own forecast is for demand to outstrip supply Qtr1 next year, so they will need to get a wiggle on if we are to drill and build a pipeline in that period. The longer they wait the more difficult it will be for those seeking re-election over there. The last thing they would want imo is to run out of gas at the wrong moment. They have promised their people much!

I don't see anyone dreaming or questioning the horse's mouth right now but as with any words from here they are always dissected and put forward to suit views. As the last month's have proved where apparently the horse's word was worthless. Another change of view. My only point is that all barriers that we possibly had an inkling of, are now removed so from our point of view there is absolutely no justifiable reason not to expect the licence to drop at any time. We will not be getting a warning and we will wake up one morning and it will be on the mat. Individually we decide whether we wait patiently or play elswhere meanwhile but that's the risk everyone takes, and the question will always be there. "Will it be tomorrow?" :0)) I'm sticking.

Considering you were one of the major parties saying TPDC were effectively forcing our position, that's sounds very much like a change of view. I wouldn't disagree that we can't expect special treatment but the big fish are dealing a whale of an issue over the LNG plant and I suggest that is the shackles that they carry and theirs could continue for years. End of March is the long stop date but as the vote clears the way for what was previously put forward as our shackles I really don't see a further barrier to approval so the licence could drop any day now and it is 100% in the ministers hands as to when he's ready.

Clear as a bell to me Spike. The interest is in just how much oil these extra two unexpected zones bring to the party. Let's not get too excited until the results come but to present it seems we have drilled for four payzones and found Six I also picked up that Mengo was a metre deeper than anticipated so that can also give considerable uplift. With the readings proving so accurate they have great confidence if Djeno and still the option to go for Vanji. Exciting times and only came in to pay for a holiday lol.

The one thing the vote allows now is that the licence could drop unexpectedly at any time or day which hopefully will make the players a little more wary. The voiciferous here have said in the past that the government has held us to ransom over it which I don't fully accept but do accept as we all know, they are holding all the cards. Now if that's the case, having got what they appear to have wanted there is no good reason why they would hold it up further particularly if their own personal demand out stripping supply forecast next year is accepted. So I say we can just sit wait and prepare for the unexpected and we could include Kiliwani news on that too. Good luck

Just listened again guys 3m 40s "Confirmation of oil in two out of three unexpected layers" Happy days eh?

2 out of 3 unexpected zones contain oil were the words he used if I recall correctly, so whatever that maybe, it is a bonus to what was expected.

Following the interview, I don't have a feeling that we will be disappointed. Not sure I will need an alarm clock tomorrow
