Good it's nice you wouldn't argue but their rise too was given at the start of the year long before a drill was ready. All I'm saying is that this whinge about a rise is a nonsense. We are one day away from 2019 and still arguing over 2017. If they take one in 2018 I'll support you but this is ridiculous. And please why the need for the pessimism at the end? Thank you ever so much you have just justified why I feel Aminex is such a good buy right now. As you infer AAOGs 2018 50% pay rise and its past problems doesn't concern you can I assume you therefore made an investment judgement on future prospects? Btw it was announced only around Sept Oct time half yearlys. If so why should an Aminex pay rise in 2017 be of such serous consequence to a new investor here when it was given on the basis of a a successful drill and a more than doubling the sp. It may not be where us lth would have liked it to start from but for the new investor this company has bloody good prospects and the first key to unlocking it all comes in five days time.

Full of sticks stones and nastiness Pete as usual I see. So just why is this opinion you choose to voice openly about a salary rise here not voiced openly over there as such a massive concern? I'm not referring that just to you but also to others who are doing the same and sat holding both. I know people who are in both who are not constantly ripping into Aminex but there is a little gang that just can't help themselves and because I fight it they don't like it or me which is blatantly obvious, as if I care. The decent silent ones out there know what I stand for and that's all I care about. Finally, you call me for being a hypocrite but you should remember it's not me that's turned against the company during a quiet time. I've supported the company throughout and I believe they have done the right thing in difficult circumstances where we are all aware it seems they had a figurative gun to their heads. I believe I will be proved right in the coming year. Off now, I'm looking forward to a great new year for both companies.

I said people and mentioned no names but if the cap fits... 50% salary increase by June, before they found a thing or even started drilling, that's what I see as clear as bloody daylight! A bit of an unclear past as far as I can gather too but there we go sometimes it's convenient for people to forget things in one place then criticise for similar things in others. I can't think why! It's strange how people complain so much about a bod rewarding themselves for making a successful find, yet the same people have moved money into another share months ago which until a week ago hadn't found anything. Seems a few of these people have been prepared to ignore the Bod there had also increased their own salaries by 50% in the first half of 2018 and yet not a murmur has been written. The issues and problems they have over there have been described as bad luck. Wheras it seems a substandard rig was acquired and needed major parts replaced. A pad set up on dodgy ground meant they had to stop drilling and move it elsewhere. Again not a murmur. I'm invested there too and I'm comfortable with things there but the double standards and behaviour shown here by some have certainly opened my eyes.

Being polite in return Mather I think you are being rather Naïve yourself to think that governments don't explore every avenue of a potential threat to their plans.

You are right in parts in so much of the negative stuff written on here is insignificant in terms of the vote (in my view it's mostly greed driven drivel based on a few well worn regurgitated truths) but they would still wish to have a feel for the mood of shareholders and in my view it would be callous of them not to monitor it.

Governments have to plan ahead, and in my view they will have done their research just as our own Bod read what goes on here!

You think they dont? I know for a fact that our Bod do and as for the government, well I suggest to ignore the possibility is real madness being displayed here! I want to trust who I get into bed with so I would background check beforehand just as I did here myself but if you don't that's up to you!

I can only ask did you do research here before you invested? and point out companies spend time and money on searching social media doing background checks on applicants for a job so why is it so hard to accept a government would carry out checks on a company and its shareholders it is about to rely upon to help it with it's industrialisation plans over the next five to ten years?

I think they have far more at stake then any of us in getting it right.

I think it will Spike and the Logging, assuming all's well ;0)) should provide a decent kicker when we can put some figures to the find.

Real potential profits here are in Djeno at ten times the size as I've read, so it makes me wonder why take the risk only to pull out now on a pittance of profit when the real rewards are just two or three weeks away.

Sadly I've been in three other drills this year that have had successful wells for production only for the sp to fall to pre spud levels.

As this is a high risk business, if it continues like that throughout 2019 genuine investors are going to back away from the industry. The risks are far too high for a mere 10% trading gain IMO
