OG I really don't think it matters which way you look at it because in reality if we reach the 40MMcf/d for $40m spend then we will still get the cash equivalent of a further $25m from APT Gas profits.

At the end of day, whether we get that sum in cash, or in the form of free carry, at some point we will probably have to pay that full $35m to carry out the full field development to maximise the potential profits! Beyond that figure, who knows, opportunities may present good reason for spending on further exploration/development currently once ratified at the rate of 25% of the costs.

Further.... I wouldn't want the BoD to stop future investment at a set figure ($35m) as that would kill the whole essence of trying to build a highly profitable company. Anyway by the time we have to consider that, we should all be seeing a healthy return from the SP because even assuming that low $40m was the cost, the group would have to make $200m before the Zubs start to earn more out of it than ourselves! At that point (including the $5m upfront)Aminex would have taken $80million profits - The Zubs $75m - Solo $50m

I am aware that Jay has seen my figures on the blog and it was indicated to a holder who went to the shareholder meeting that the figures are broadly in line.

That's my view OG, I believe we will be self funded long before they have spent that full amount and this is why I feel the deal was done to return cash from gas profits once the 40MMcf/d has been reached.

Benjdroid what a breath of fresh air from someone who can see the reality of where we actually are today. I really do hope that you can hold off your sale long enough to gain the fruits of your investment here. With the threat from Iran yesterday sure to send the oil price rocketing even higher what a wonderful time it would be around Christmas to find first oil in Tanzania with Chikumbi_1 We know oil is the target in the deeper level of the drill following the oil shows at Ntoyra2 so there is every reason to be optimistic about the future here and as you say a hugely profitable 1.87tcf pocket of gas are there awaiting as a booby prize on a free carry to monetisation. Do they deserve a big pay rise? No, imo they should have waited like we have to wait for our returns and in that respect I feel they have made an error of judgement in light of the strength of shareholder feeling that they were aware of. Tbh I think this element is one of the biggest causes of angst on here and why shouldn't it be!

Have the BoD managed our investment well? Imo overall, yes they have given the circumstances and they have come out with a deal that should be good for all of us! Of course that is a matter of personal opinion, but no matter, when having an opinion, it is not correct to make allegations of incompetence and mismanagement without being able to show valid cause and proof of such things. It is not enough to say they should have done this that or the other because quite simply there is no poster on this board that knows the circumstances that they were in.

BoDs are not infallible and they do make mistakes just like all of us do individually but while I watch carefully and read what they do, I am able to give them the benefit of doubt until they are proven to have misbehaved.

Nothing more I can say, I think over the last few posts I have covered my feelings in full.

Like I said Mather we can all have private thoughts right or wrong and only time will show whether Jay will do a side step into the Zubs domain but that still doesn't mean he would be guilty of bad practice. People need to remember they are on a public forum and now days people are taken to court over what they say in chat rooms and social media. It is no longer a hiding place for the stalkers and trolls of this world and besides all that, I feel it is totally foolish to diss your own management publically when you have your own money tied up in it.

If I really felt that way I would be keeping quiet waiting for the next spike to jump out on! Just before anyone does try telling me these boards do not influence potential new PI holders, I will say wake up and smell the coffee because it is just these sort of bbs that give new people a feel for any shares.

As for fact of matter, you have made many unfounded allegations of wrongdoing by mis-management which you are not able to prove and you have at times talked about Jay being incompetent which again you cannot prove and again you have indicated an opinion along with others who I equally feel are wrong when it has been said the shares have been manipulated for the Zubs benefit.

Nobody has any proof of any such thing and therefore as I said it is bordering on the edge to make such public comments! We all have our private thoughts and we all think we could run a company better than someone else but the truth is, if we could, we would be doing it!

I don't want to make an issue of your statement about whining but you said you sold out on the 12th July so I am left wondering what it is that you doing? No need to answer. Can you quote me on those figures Dunder please? I stated many times I was looking for what I saw as value and not a specific figure. Also that what my perceived value would be based on the deal that is offered. While I think we may have done a little better I am very happy to be where we are right now (save for the sp) Your opinions on a price are just an opinion you are entitled to have whether anyone agrees or not. Unfounded allegations of wrong doing are misleading bordering on slander and libel and you were on the edge of that on many occasions and that is my beef with you. Come up with the proof and I'll accept what you say but whenever you are challenged you disappear. Unless you are going to quote me or show me proof of wrongdoing there is no point in further discussion between us.

QT I'm not gloating I am currently underwater too but I believe where many of you don't. You have just proved the point of my last post where you admit you bought in on the strength of a back to back drill after the spike but as BG has shown it was clearly stated in December 2016 a full 3 months before the spike that it may not happen! Now specifically rxdav you can berate me all you like but if you don't read the information provided I'm afraid it's your bloody fault and not the BoDs and I can't change that just for you because it's a fact! Believe me I take no satisfaction in seeing people underwater but please don't blame anybody but yourselves if you don't bother to research properly. It wasn't titops fault and it isn't mine.

I took up my option when it was offered and haven't got access to the wording at the moment but I'd be surprised if they didn't include provisos in the small print. For you and few long termers it may matter but not to me. The biggest noises have been coming from those who got spiked though and while I understand their being upset, as BG has pointed out, it was quite clear there were provisos since at least 5th December 16 and I will shown they carried on buying in regardless and from complaints we've heard over recent months they did it without doing their own research so let's be quite clear Aminex cannot be held responsible for the folly's of the sheep that follow the herd.

I wouldn't say that CP that RNS to which BG refers was before even NT2 had spudded so if anyone bothered to read they would have know full well when they bought in on that spike what the situation was and that NT3 depended on the results of NT2. For anyone to thing it wasn't planned to happen is a bit silly seeing that they had already completed the second drill pad!

Then Boom we get NT2 and look what that come up with? What was originally estimated 153 bcf jumped to 450 ish and ultimately 1.87 tcf

The sp was 2.01 when that RNS was published 2.75 by 16th January and 6.65 27th February spiking in the upper 7s I'm afraid people came in chasing a rainbow of just 153bcf and many got spiked but funnily enough they valued that 153bcf at 6.65 and yet many of those people don't see the value of a free ride to the profit of 1.87tcf.

Each to their own I suppose, but that is why aunty is not selling. Aunty read those things and knew what she was getting into. Aunty knows that even though a sizable chunk has been given away for that free carry, she will be walking away with a decent profit in her purse.

My auntie is not selling. She might top slice a little on the spike but she's going nowhere, there is plenty of miles in this after CH1.

Having listened to people on this BB for the last few months I feel most of those who got caught on last years spike will disappear into the mist, the minute they get near recovering their paper loss & that's worth remembering one and all. It is only a paper loss if you sell it.

One of the problems with spikes is that it catches and traps the rainbow chasers and they don't like it!

You may be right from the presentation SirRob but word back from the evening indicated a side back side action. Again and without checking I think Jay also gave that impression during the video interview?
