Triumph, I agree with lots of what you say.
"The same reason for the lack of communication; there is nothing to communicate"
Plenty to communicate, contract wins galore, new distributors ect. Timing however is terrible. They keep Comms back until they have several bits all at once and somehow 9 out of 10 RNS's have a negative tone to them. This starts and ends at the top so hopeful DA can change this.
"but they have been sluggish in the ever changing regulatory environment"
Ncyt are good at being first to market on alot of new products. World class bioinformatics and R&D departments. Problem seems to be with sales. They have the distribution channels, they have an army of sales staff, they have the world class products by the hundreds. Why aren't we selling millions of tests in every corner of the world. Maybe another one for DA to rectify.
"and for a growth company why on earth are they sitting on cash piles like this?"
I suspect the dispute has a big part to play in this. Holding it back just in case. Certainly won't be spending it before DA arrives. I guess DA will build a strategy incorporating his cash balance which will be close to £100m. Just a matter of time before we make an acquisition imo.
"Where is this lft?"
Good Q, back in July I think it was we were advised of 'shortly' so could be anytime.
As for non-covid. They are mentioning it more and more in their talks of strategy and future. Again, DA will pick this up and run with it imo.
Imo, GM has been holding us back as much as the dispute. At least one of those will be resolved in the next 3 weeks.
