Wasn't the whole point of the previous lockdowns to help spread the hospitalisations out over months instead of weeks. Why then, when we are heading into potentially the biggest surge yet do the government insist on keeping us open.

It's not to save the economy because the hospitality and travel industries are getting pummeled. They are being forced to operate at say 50% but getting no financial support such as Furlough.

Suppliers of PCR tests are being out under immense pressure. Even the big boys will struggle to keep up. Lead times will be affected and the customers will be forced to shop around. Let's hope DA is planning ahead and making sure he has ample supplies. They got stung last time with the DHSC contract but that's the downside of having all your eggs in one basket. This time is different, we don't have that risk.

You do see the link between politics and ncyt. Our biggest customer was the government. The government have us over a barrel with a dispute that has probably shaven in excess of £500m off the mcap. Highlights the complete incompetence of the gov. We still don't have the infrastructure to test everyone whilst companies like ncyt have stock sat their waiting. Just sort it out.

Well as seen as that dispute is costing is about £500m in mcap I do hope they hold off until it's resolved.
