MHRA can sign off before we have ISO(using Mologic's) but commercial roll out waits for our ISO. CE mark is a tick box that needs our ISO so waits for our ISO but HMG can probably roll out AffiDX without a CE mark but with ISO(Mologic's) as not commercial sale.

Sorry to break in on the hugging. I am of the opinion Mologic only do the CE/CV now and HMG await ISO 13485 for AVCT in order for AS or Mologic to CE mark with the AffiDX brand. No time will be wasted if the intention is to sell as AffiDX and not white label a sovereign test.

Politics is involved when there is likely an enquiry on the way re PPE contracts that might extend to testing budgets. This also might influnce HMG in decisions re the consortium test of choice which I am fairly sure will no longer be white label as they will brag about the discount they have been able to negotiate.

We are waiting for ISO too to maximize margin and TT legally to the consortium partners. HMG are not interfering with our commercial roll out, AS has been slow to pursue the development status and regulators here are not in lockstep with HMG urgency. Without the government push/promise of orders we would most likely have remained as affimer licencer to the industry.

Dumble, HMG are probably holding us up for ISO reasons to get the documentation correct. They are arms length with the sovereign test versus the developer (AVCT) and only use their potential orders to control and coerce leaving us to pick up the liabilities.

Of course it will probably be Bell at PD that gets hauled over the coals for the frozen protocol. Scientists can be very narrow minded when in their field of work.

There has been far too much coercion / meddling by HMG and Cummings is going to highlight lack of transparency and hence ability to scientifically challenge and dare I say bb meaningfully discuss government strategy next Wednesday.

Another observation is that if existing LFTs from whichever company are innefective then AVCT should be able to win the race for one that will do the job.

How is that if Medusa have exclusive sales? Maybe put a rocket under our regulators. They should be on 24/7 with qualified assessors in management working on the shop floor like Christian Stephenson at Medusa. Civil Service needs a shaking if they are ever to achieve anything.

Medusa MO is the main chance, I am sure Christian Stephenson is concentrated on our test and has been having a dry run with his antibody test.

Medusa19 is a private company so can keep info under wraps but I am sure AS who has to sell DTC via Medusa will need to reference the combined consortium and others to add to Medusa capacity when jointly considering total figures for ramping purposes as potential if government orders dry up and spare capacity is available.

Day 3 Affi +ve isolate repeat from Day 2 (if negative for the second time, go to work)

Direct to consumer AffiDX sales are exclusive to Medusa so there will be no bun fight for our test and profits shared so any pricing strength benefits both parties. The contract limits Medusa to one antigen test only which is ours. Medusa have put up their cash to facilitate and probably have a 50m/month LFD production line, no doubt terms reflect all this and 50/50 profit seems fair.

Pity the saliva LFT wasn't pursued but Innova was creaming it at the time and suppose they didn't fancy the competition. Even with AN LFT release imminent you cannot argue against acceptable mass use you would have got with saliva test to dampen outbreaks.
