I was surprised AS was surprised with affimer interest by the public. It is synonymous with AVCT so not a clever comment when he has to sell the company prospects with affimers in every product. Even cursory clicking by Joe Blogs will come across affimer references and need to know before buying into the tech although I know a lot of comments on here suggest not but I think this proves a lot do want to know how the world works..

I think silence in a relationship is abusive and Medusa have far deeper pockets than AVCT and can cope with it but are dependant on us for their future in the short term; Matt H was abusive for not putting the consortium on a transparent footing; AVCT still have a chance of salvaging something but need to make a bit of noise when news can be commented on so affimer tech is not confined to dogs and horses, largely the only beneficiaries since 2020.

Medusa should sanction up to date LFT news from their viewpoint. They are not accountable except to AVCT who need to update. Profit sharing will be mutually beneficial assuming AVCT can remain supported by the shareholders whereas for Medusa that should be important for their future. 50/50 implies a bit of cooperation on the news front good or bad/

DHSC could buy AffiDX for professional use and I expect this to happen for the government to laud British biotech when capacity is there; private organisations will follow suit as they see fit which in my opinion will be largely restricted to regulated test environment; AS should have conveyed news that his staff all take twice weekly AffiDX sars2 test and how good it is at picking up the infectious or to reassure everyone is safe and in production protected environment (PPE!).

Yes, you are the greatest dedicated Bird researcher and this might be big enough to cause the director/ceo buys before common knowledge gives a permanent higher floor. I had not realised the OEM referred to hardware and was thinking of original software but Sony is huge and rivalry will see their competitors examine and probably climb on board. The prospects for AVA6000 would entice the new advisory talent so that advice on direction of travel is agreeable to potential predators. Personally I think AS should be bold enough to forge ahead with becoming better than Roche in mind as more likely to be hampered by a dragnet full of the wrong fish if he listens too much; he could possibly have them at arms length though. Good results at Royal Marsden are down to him not the new appointees.

If he can't put winning educational science on the AVCT website he has no hope of winning in the press. Why no dismantling of PD systems, AVCT have just rolled over. Changes to PCR tests for travel will be made 'very soon'
Back in the Commons and Conservative Sir Graham Brady raises the issue of testing for travellers, saying there is evidence that people returning from green list and amber list countries over the summer actually had a lower level of Covid than people who stayed in the UK during the summer.

He asks Sajid Javid whether he accepts that makes a very powerful case for getting rid of the day-two PCR test for people returning from those countries.

Javid says the government has constantly kept travel rules relating to Covid under review.

He adds he is looking to make a set of changes "very soon" and the transport secretary will be bringing forward those changes to the House as soon as soon as he possibly can.

Bird has recurring revenue which in a recession probably goes up when more people look for home entertainment so in a stagflationary recession I am expecting Bird should be in demand. Every chance revenue will result in a profit when year end comes.

I think parallel home use data will be good enough for that regulatory approval Bethell refers to and will allow for retail sale but I think government procurement also bypasses PD wallahs, they are just waiting for confirmed capacity to be efficient for any new regime/purchase orders. At the moment covid has free rein to spread.

Mina is keen on LFTs and I am sure he could find a way to gazump so to speak the UK Government for every test we can make as we are the best. There are more affimer experts in the US than the UK I suspect hence our development reps to keep an eye on them and AffiDX would be high profile where it counts.
