Just one other thing the government said in June this year they did not intend to change the uso and whatever ofgom wants it has to be agreed by thr government hopefully the government will see sense and reduce letters to 5 days a week but I won’t hold my breath

Thanks Red I started in February 2006 when I was 42 I’ve only had 3 jobs and to start with it was the easiest job you could wish to do . But once the van share came in in 2013 if was a different job completely.Hope your investment on here makes you a nice bit of money I’ve only got the 913 free ones left

The reason I’m posting this is when RM say they want to improve QOS it is a load of bull sh-t the FT round I do will go out every other day with a different person on it so no one gets lumbered with double bubble 3 times a week the DOM said that’s cheaper then taking someone else on so much for QOS
Regarding the pension holiday it was 13 years from 1990 to 2003 so the conservative government under Thatcher started it and Blair Labour government carried it on for 6 years before they started putting money back in the pension in 2003

Hound dog there was an article in the guardian this week saying if RM dropped Saturday delivery it would save between 125 - 225 million those figures were from the regulator but it didn’t say when this was done
Just reading Keith Williams statement where he says QOS is are top priority yer the best way to improve that would be to replace the people that are leaving . Instead people are leaving and not getting replaced god knows how many officers are failing but at least the wage bill will be lower for next year results
RG Postie RM may deliver more then the competition but the wages RM pay will be more then the competition not to mention the sick pay and the pension benefits RM pay no wonder we are making a loss
1 last time you said vesa won’t sell because of the numbers involved and I gave you an example where numbers don’t matter if someone offers DK a price he is happy with he will sell . Anger I saw you post yesterday that vesa would not sell there shares because of the numbers involved you clearly have no idea how the stock market works do you.I will give you 1 example in 2005 j Maginer and J P Macmanus sold 28.7% of there Man Utd shares to the Glazier family so if a hedge fund offered vesa and x amount for there holding and DK w as happy with the price he would sell
