Another perspective : £120k yesterday + £180k today

And who was it that sold his £300k to buy Prem….

Don’t recollect significant sized buys prior to the last sp peak at c.35p but rather was led by the presentation ?

IF it’s only trader/s that’s c.£180k today + £120k yesterday
& then used £300k just to spook the market into buying…

Should though be quite evident within a very short time frame, ie IF there is good news then that news will be passed relentlessly around, resulting in yet further decent big trades.

That was last night’s hypothesis.
It appears that the probability of, has somewhat escalated.

Took 14 months to build. Estimated $10B to $14B cost.
And been somewhat plagued ever since by problems, part of which are down to Oz union rules & Oz environment management group.

In other words, he is basically on a $6M bonus to keep the Darwin plant operational.

Difficult times for Santos jc., might a Beaco plant then attract additional upstream business…

And alternatively it opens Chudditch as a quick fix for being the potential intermediate supplier for Santos Darwin, with the pipe-laying vessels currently berthed at Singapore whilst all we need is a short piece of pipeline to connect to the existing Bayu pipeline. If the environmental management group NOPSEMA are playing hardball then Santos may be tempted to put the Bayu carbon capture plans on hold, freeing up those pipes which are now on their last couple of months of oil transfer use to maintain operations at Darwin..

My main plumber is engaged in Wyoming and starting to do good things over there having successfully plumbed 100+ bopd unhedged with another 6 similar plumbings being done in immediate future. It’s only taken him 24 months to get his plumbing kit sorted & thats still only partially sorted. Lol but future looks good there too.

TL now with bags of confidence and going ahead on their development plans.

That Sunrise PSC was now inclusive of
‘80% of revenues go to TL if piped via Darwin or 70% of revenues if piped via TL’
Might be a hard nut for TL to crack if arbitration,
which imv suggests a 3rd party assist.
Certainly all heating up between the parties.

I’m reading that ‘arbitration’ slightly differently, namely that TL are now actively seeking to remove Woodside (or at the very least least, put a large rocket up Meg’s derrière) and for which they will now be ‘facilitating the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards, which previously lacked appropriate regulation’.

A rocket up Meg’s erse will then hopefully show good results at this week’s meeting but the suspicion is that TL possibly already have a 3rd party operator interested in taking a 50% stake in Sunrise, which will then put Chudditch in the full glare of prospective energy buyers.

Oilexco had throttled back from 25,000k bopd down to c.18,000k bopd (AM rather inappropriately shut-down some well-heads (x3?) to try obtain better flow improvements at the exact same time as the banks were throttling back on their loan facilities) & at that time, the 18,000k bopd generated an mc of c.$4.2B

“ £2 could be a long way off. We would need a net daily production of about 20-25k with 277m shares..” then sounds rather lame ie. an estimated mc of £554M for 20-25k bopd.

It all hinges on how much sentiment there is, recently a negative with AM but could change on JV announcement or if he actually starts producing (the Oilexco scenario seems to be being repeated?). And if successful would strongly suspect that we even get half way to 20k bopd that AM would then have sufficient enough funds to allow him to take over OPL [10k bopd x $80/bbl gives cash flow of $292M/annually] and which again would also see a step change in sentiment value.

Lol, but a bit rich that from the poster who Q1 last year rather vehemently attacked HFB for criticising AM in a similar style to what we have now seen these last few months.

Was a nice original write up though (unlike hfb’s oft mass produced repetitive rhetoricals) which basically infers on how AM exploits the faithful with his never ending choreography of expected time periods which are then overwritten by the next great expectation.

That flickering light at the end of the tunnel ? That all still emanates from the largest bond holder. ‘6 wells’ that the old boys sidelined ? And I’m starting to suspect that they too will eventually arrive at the same conclusion, via the total lack of retail investor communications.

Not convinced he’s had enough but would suspect that like many Pi’s he’s feeling quite bruised. Would then imagine that having a decent amount of cash would be forefront in AM’s thinking.
$50M say for further developing the field and possibly the same again to get back into deep waters, with a cheeky bid on OPL ?
