Derek, your post of 12.55 is full of so much made-up nonsense I really feel compelled to break it down so that anyone not conversant with the science can, in future, discount anything that you ever post.
I have repeatedly challenged the science...Really, could you provide a sensible example where you have challenged the science?
The results from P1 so far pretty much prove safety but the insignificant number of patients data that has been published has not convinced the market or BP. - When you say 'insignificant number of patients' is this in your opinion? or are you a member of the SDMC for the ALS-6000-101 dose escalation phase 1 clinical trial.? Do you have a link to company or clinical trial data that clearly outlines the optimum number of patients required for this specific trial? Or are you working on the principle that like a good bag of chips, the more the better? Trials are designed to follow established protocols and to provide pre-determined levels of data. The number of patients per cohort is pre-determined and well established. Do you really think they make it up as they go along? Then at the end of the trial all look at each other and say 'oh bugger, the data is insufficient because we didn't test enough people?? we should of roped a few more in then we'd have been fine?? best start again'
You are correct that the Market remains to be convinced but your assertation that BP remain to be convinced is simply a made up statement with no basis in fact. Please don't confuse the fact that we haven't heard anything to mean that they aren't interested.
HENCE p1 continues. Al has intimated that nothing pivotal will happen until end of fortnightly testing. - Where has AS said that? link please, or is this another made-up assumption?
PS.
Sometimes cancer tumours just start shrinking of their own accord. Very small likelihood but that may have been our lucky patient that is held up as proof beyond doubt that AVA6000 is a winner. - Derek that is simply foolish nonsense, do you really think that AVCT would claim that the 65% guy had seen his improvement as a result of his inclusion in the AVA6k trial, when actually it was because his tumour had 'started shrinking of its own accord' and actually he was just a 'lucky patient'
