As a LTH of several years, like many here, I've endured the psychological stress of all the ups and downs inc, the house purchase, vaccine day, the sovereign test? (is it us?), the end of free LFT's, AVA going into clinical trials, SP of £2.90 down to 40p, etc etc
Over this time I've added frequently (sadly not always at the best price) and managed, somehow, to retain my entire holding.
As others have said, yesterday was quite an emotional day for me, partly a feeling of vindication, partly a feeling of relief but mostly a feeling of pride. pride at being invested in a company that has done what others couldn't and unlocked the ability to provide a better, kinder treatment for the cruellest of all diseases.

Such a monumental advance for cancer sufferers has to be accelerated to market and big pharma will do this much faster than AVCT are able.

Sounds to me like some eligible staff are 'exercising their options'. I admit that my understanding is limited but what I do know is that EMI schemes lapse if you leave the company. Therefore, if the company is sold, is there a possibility that existing company schemes could be removed/replaced by a new owner??
If this is the case, I would suggest that you would want to exercise your options and own shares ASAP

If you were the CEO of a company that employed a team, who, over several years had worked tirelessly to develop a ground breaking, and potentially incredibly valuable asset. You would want them to exercise their EMI and LTIP options PRIOR to any major inflection points.

Is this morning's RNS telling us that the BOD are encouraging the AVA team to take up their 10p options in advance of a major announcement and subsequent significant re-rate?

Bottom line is if AVA6000k works, then all existing protocols for the administration of Dox are ripped up.

The current administration of Dox becomes obsolete overnight via a single AVCT RNS. Why on earth would any oncologist subject a patient to the horrendous side effects of dox if a kinder more effective treatment was available?

Tend to agree with Myles. For the company to miss such a clearly stated time scale for an update that was almost certainly completed and agreed pre-xmas, makes me think that something unplanned has occurred and the BOD have been overtaken by events.
