i’ve been an investor a long time, have experience in the industry and have said many times on lse that markets and stocks are typically driven in the short term by sentiment rather than fundamentals… but this case is nothing to do with “mms accumulating shares” and you certainly don’t have any proof of that. it is more likely a case of there simply not being sufficiently more buyers than sellers. all these conspiracy theories are laughable… they were bad enough when we had no news/lp. but even post lp and positive news you are trying to find excuses for why the sp hasn’t risen further.

What the F are you on about now? Bought in at the wrong time? You mean my top up yesterday at 5.8p or my three other buys at 3.5p, the biggest by far in the raise at 2.5p or my top up at 4.2p?

I’m well up here but yes, my one day old top up yesterday is out of the money as it were. You’ll rarely pick the absolute bottom or top of the market.

Well this one has me a bit stumped.

My best guess… a large seller in the background with perhaps a stringent investment process in place where they were to sell on LP approval?!

V1 duster would be a bit disappointing but not unexpected and I can’t believe we are fully valued even without it. And cash raises/dilution? Well how much dilution would we be talking about?… not enough to mean we should be down in the 4p range post LP. All IMO. I’ll be letting the dust settle over the weekend, see what happens Monday and debate another top up then.

I gave some very real and plausible reasons (from experience) why the SP might be falling. You’ve obviously got some issues or can’t have a constructive debate, so I’ll leave you to it 👍🏻

Barclayshare - as mentioned many times before, not all trades are reported instantly. Large orders over a certain NMS can delay trade reporting.

There’s other factors, a sudden glut of sales/purchase at one time, a big trade left with a MM who is working an ‘iceberg’ order etc etc.

But the overarching point remains… there just isn’t enough buying pressure to move this SP upwards like we want or expected. Myself included.

I don’t think it’s MM games. If there was sufficient demand for shares, then buyers have to pay more… it’s a market.

For whatever reason there just aren’t the buyers needed to significantly rerate the SP.

If it goes sub 5p, I’ll have a decision to make on (yet another) top up.

I should be able to top up sub 3p at this rate! :D

Markets will never cease to amaze me. Sure, there’s no oil being pumped out of the ground just yet, but surely yesterday was fundamentally the best news MATD has ever had?

If almost inexplicably the SP falls back tomorrow towards 4-5p, I’d have to seriously consider yet another top up. Or, perhaps wait until V1 results… after all, it’s still a 20% long shot. So maybe then is a good time to top up.

To coin a bigbench phrase, you wouldn’t want to be out of this over the weekend!

Let’s hope as a result we see this SP continue to push on tomorrow. Because 6p is mildly disappointing for the LP RNS day!

Market very risk off today. Could be a contributor, along with people not clocking on to what has happened. We might make a headline or two which will bring new investors in.

Thornogson - indeed. And now we have the LP and will be able to extract and make some money, money markets will be more willing to help us at more reasonable rates, if that was a path we wanted to go down.

I don’t think it’s anything to do with volume. If there’s enough buyers, stock will dry and they’ll be forced to pay more to entice potential sellers.

If anyone wants mine, they can have them now for 30p?

Have to be realistic, 10p+ not happening today. But I hope it happens over the next week once the market fully realises. There should be plenty of downside protection now and it’s time to enjoy it and relax. I’ve just asked Pedro to get me another beer to celebrate.
