I'll believe 26p when I see it. However, I do think that the most recent RNS will provide a floor (support) under the SP. Even if DQE/PC don't play ball, which I think is very possible, we can cling to the fact that the refinery will eventually be built and ready to receive Heron oil. There might just be a raise and some dilution before then, if we really do have to wait for the refinery, but you'd hope we'd be able to survive somehow until then.

Fruits, our year end is 31st December. Results have to be given within 6 months, i.e. 30th June. So still time for this.

But there has to be 21 clear days notice for the AGM. That is absolutely 100% correct and we can all add up days on a calendar. Unless they really do hold it on the Saturday or Sunday (29th or 30th June) they are in breach and unlawful.

Fruits, I didn't mean they would sell the company to PI's. I meant they might try to sell the story to PI's that they're going bust and a sale is the only option. All just guesswork and postulating, which we shouldn't have to do.

DocD - most reasons for the delay might be positive. But IMO the most likely reason is something more negative, maybe Spacman's auditor worry.

All guesswork, which shouldn't be the case. The company should be updating us. But any takeover bid needs 90% of shareholders to agree to it.

I know many of us on here now have significant holdings in terms of shares (not value, sadly). I'm not sure what I'd accept now TBH, but I can imagine for those who have averaged down considerably post Feb 2022 or newbies buying in at sub 10p, they might bite your hand off for 35p. Especially if the BOD sell it to PI's that they could lose the lot if they don't agree to it.

Tommy, yes. But as unrealistic as one of Spacman’s many thoughts that the AGM will be on a Sunday. Although I did say I didn’t think they’d be a face to face AGM this year. So perhaps a sunny Sunday afternoon in Outer Mongolia for the AGM it is.

Tommy - that is clutching at straws. It would be highly unusual to have an AGM on a Sunday and is unrealistic. It is feasible it could still come within the next few hours. But why wait? They won’t have had a meeting in the middle of the night to decide the dates and wording of the RNS.

For whatever reason, Synairgen seem to have missed the deadline. It’s either:

1. They forgot

2. They don’t care

3. They couldn’t

3 is clearly the most plausible. But is it for a good or bad reason why they couldn’t? Even if it was something negative (like the auditors not signing it off) or positive (like a deal in the offing) they still have to inform the market.

Wpa - that would still be in breach. 21 clear days needed. Unless they have the AGM in the evening or at the weekend. No, they have missed the regulatory deadline. There’s got to be a very good reason for that. I hope.

Can’t see an RNS on the LSE site. Staggered. So unless it comes by 9am (surely you’d just release at 7am), I’d say Synairgen are in breach of their regulatory commitments.

Why would you do that? Presumably because you either don’t care, or can’t. We should have at least had an RNS confirming if the latter and why they can’t, for example auditors not signing them off.

I’m reasonably confident we’ll get an RNS first thing in the morning. But I am nervous for what it is going to say. We know they have to RNS anything material as soon as they know it. I’m expecting, at a minimum, to be told there are further delays. At worse, the need for funds or something more terminal. I’m thinking more the former, but who knows. Certainly not us PI’s!

Tommy - I think I’m right that 7am tomorrow is still within. But it really does have to be tomorrow, and first thing. You can probably tell I’m downbeat now and a Friday is also a good time to drop a negative, if not terminal, RNS.

I think a 7am RNS tomorrow morning means they are still OK, providing the AGM starts after 7am on Friday 28th June!

Come on guys, for those claiming they’ve not been able to buy today, that is just patently untrue, unless your broker is a bit, well, naff. And tbf, I have access to DMA and am spoilt in that regard, although I really don’t trade much. I’m a buy and hold type, probably to my financial detriment. But as Thornogson has said, we need to wait for that RNS. I am as hopeful as the rest of us that it will be the one that rerates this damned SP and sees us all make some money.

Sharebel, £20k of buys is never going to materially move the SP up! It’s quite simple, if there are lots of buyers and available stock dries up, then they have to move the bid price higher to attract more sellers. If they move it up to 8p, they can have plenty of my shares. But they don’t need to because there’s no buyers!
