Indeed it is. And one can't help but be slightly disappointed we are only back to where we were last month. But it is early days and it could well go on a good run up.

It is early days but I am surprised it hasn’t rerated a bit more. But I do think the market wants to see oil actually produced from Heron, as there have been so many false dawns. And institutions might also want to see confirmation of oil production and potential numbers before piling in. IMO, that is when this could really fly, if the likes of Premier Miton put in a top up order of 50m shares!

Investor33, this 4.5p does indeed seem an incredibly strong resistance point. So much so that it hasn’t managed to close above it despite us now having permission to extract oil. As said earlier, it seems like it will take a number of RNS’s/positive statements in quick succession to really break through.

Thornogson, absolutely. My point is that MB needs to be banging the drum and releasing RNS’s or X updates on all these points. Don’t go silent and lose this momentum.

Stas20 - you were highly critical of MATD just prior to the RNS. Are you now positive on them, or just playing the market hoping to make a quick buck? Serious question, as I follow you over on COPL where you’ve done great work in hopefully bringing that bunch of scumbags down.

I really am hoping this does push on this afternoon. The oft-mentioned 4.5p resistance level needs well and truly obliterating. It needs MB to get a sustained flow of positive RNS’s going. Don’t lose this momentum, Mike.

I can’t tell you how much I hope you’re right. But worth pointing out HE1 started from a much smaller market cap, yes, perhaps with less potential for the numbers MATD could make. But I’ll still be surprised but very happy if this makes it anywhere near 10p!

Ojay - Aeschylus has took the words right out of my mouth. I’d be getting excited if we break new highs (post Feb 2022 raise), i.e. 7p+.

Aeschylus - it does feel different. But I think we’ve potentially more hurdles to jump. I also wouldn’t put it past MB to fire in with a raise if the SP does carry on upwards, as it’ll surely be some time yet before we can sustain ourselves financially from Heron. I also disagree with some of the price targets quoted on here! Let’s hope we really do push on tomorrow and beyond.

It’s not bad at all. But the fact it came following a 33% fall since last month means we’re just back to where we were!

Really do need this to push on now. As you say, this was this price a month or so ago.

Thornogson - do you see any possibility DQE could delay, for whatever reason? Bearing in mind we’ve been in discussions with them for years. It does comfort me somewhat that master says we do have a viable alternative to them, if needed. Perhaps it’s just gone on for so long that I’ll only truly believe this is sorted once I see a photo of MB smiling next to a barrel of Heron oil!

Master, I’ve also got a near two year old boy. Life is anything but quiet. Would be nice for MATD to come good in a big way, us all celebrate properly and get our rewards. I’m glad we have a potential alternative to DQE, as I do/did see them as another potential stumbling block.

Anyway, great news today and well overdue. Last hurdle for me is DQE. These “negotiations” have also being going on for years. Genuine questions, are there alternatives to DQE we can use if they don’t play ball?

I’ll give you some news - the governor is doing and will continue to do everything he can to frustrate the process, probably with the backing of the Chinese and/or Russians, and this will likely end up in court.

Before you laugh this down, bear in mind I’ve been more right than most on here. I’m sad to say.
