Probably best to see what the company comes back with at this stage. We're only a day in to it being RNSed. I'd hope that they come down hard on whoever orchestrated this mess. That would show good leadership and steady the ship.

It's really sad that potentially people with great wealth get a 'much wants more' mentality which blights it for whatever they're involved with, the people that work there, shareholders and ultimately themselves.

It's like when people throw away decades of good marriage for a one-nighter with an OnlyFans narcissist. It just makes no sense to me.

...people contact the company and express their displeasure on this matter. The more voices among us the more that action could be taken.

Especially if we don't have any comms today. If we do, and quick action has been taken, so much the better.

I think that's a perfectly fair observation and I broadly agree. Whether Mr Boughtwood knew or not it's the symbolic actions of what he does next that will speak to how well the company is handling this matter. Hopefully we will know soon.

So it's not as if she's sold the majority of them. And an investigation could exonerate her. Who knows, it could be poor reporting on the systems fault but that will come out in time if so. I do think they should have a zero tolerance policy on this stuff though, and do a thorough investigation. It's only fair given the hoops that small investors and regular members of the public have to jump though to do anything these days.

Or maybe this isn't about the company and she's just got a tonne of shares and can afford to offload. Maybe there's issues in her marriage. Maybe the company means squat to her and she has her own interests. Maybe it was a genuine oversight but I lea away from that as we all know that there are strict reporting rules. We could speculate forever and be no nearer. The main thing is it's come to light, and she appears to be the sole perp so...

I think we've all seen more than our share of dodgy directors on the stock markets, especially the less regulated ones, who simply got greedy and ran companies into the ground, with not a woman in sight.

Anyway, the good thing is that it likely is a private matter rather than the company doing anything wrong, but could go some way to explaining the rather baffling drops and stagnations in sp here recently. Having said that there's plenty to look forward to here and it's all building up to one would guess, much better and tangible things towards the backend of 2024 and into next year. All of which should be exciting and hopefully see us in a new ballpark!

Well, she clearly knew how to evade registering share sales for 4 months and I'm glad it's come to light. Of course it's more a personal issue rather than a company one, but it does call into question her integrity imo and although in principle her husband's resignation might make sense, he may genuinely have not known. It may be him that has reported it, who knows? She also may have made an oversight, but personally I don't think there are any excuses for people operating at that level of wealth not to know the rules. The rest of us little people have to abide by everything to the letter or we are in deep doo-doo. It should be no different for directors or their kith and kin.

I'm sorry but they should come down hard on this. I work for a large company and I neither ever discuss it by name, or otherwise nor do I buy its shares on open market. We all have a Share Scheme in the UK in which we notify the company and its broker if we buy or sell shares openly on the market outside of the allowable company scheme. Not to mention selling within the scheme, which requires paperwork and officialdom.

There's no reason for someone of her standing not to know imo, I'm sorry.

A little top up for me this morning. I too think that this level is both insane and a gift if you're in the market to accumulate under the radar.
