I can't help wondering what this has all been about. It seems to have achieved absolutely nothing except getting, reading beyween the lines, a director sacked.

It's arguable that Mrs Boughtwood (and by extension, Mr) fundamentally damaged this share price in the short term imo, at least the way it's been traded and the repercussions of that.

It's almost inconceivable that something with such vast potential, and with so many irons in fires, is at toilet bowl level. But as stated, so are other companies, and I look upon this as an absolute gift to accumulate quietly this year. If you check the presentation timetable the fireworks really are more in 2025, not majorly 2024. Though of course it doesn't mean a dearth of news. Nobody was expecting the EVage announcement.

That RNS was curt at best and blunt at worst. That's how I read it. It had none of the flourish of 'so and so, esteemed director stepping down, years of service, wish him well, blah, blah'.

It looked outwardly at least, pointedly dismissive. But who could blame them? Look where we are at. These people have put us on this slope to some extent at least imo. And the damage within the industry will be felt too because ripples spread when you don't play by the rules you expect others to apply. So, his directorial dismissal was necessary and imo, welcome. If they're keeping him on in any capacity this RNS rather goes against that notion.

Possibly. But at least he's lost his directorship.

Even if he wasn't directly responsible, or he and his wife live separate lives and she got her cues from somewhere else, it's ultimately his responsibility as an affiliated person to step up. He can't get the directorship perks he once did.

Why do you care? What's it to you what anyone else does?

If you look at the timeline of events from the last presentation about 18 months ago-ish, and obviously not including the EVage deal as that hadn't been factored in then, it would appear that we are likely to be looking at a transformational period in 2025. My personal feeling is that I would use this year to load up quietly tbh, if you are so inclined.

I am happy with my holding but do want to see the Mrs B mess cleared up. Whatever else happens this year we could possibly move to AIM.

It shouldn't. The ethics of what went on should be transparent and honestly presented. And I'm a holder, not a trader.

The website is not brilliant imo. Short on investor info but there are some helpful things like a mailing list. I think it could do with a freshen up though. I can't speak to the Norwegian holding but hopefully the above link is reasonably useful in determining the basic larger holdings. There will have been a bit of change since 2023 year end but not much I'd imagine.

I would say yes it does matter.

We can send things up into space and replace humans with robots but we can't accurately sort out a buy and a sell. It's actually pretty bizarre in 2024 tbh.

Voice your concerns over his running of this company after 6 very long years, blighted by his (imo) complacency, disdain for his shareholders and goalpost shifting. Myself and others, esp in the early days, gave him chance after chance but it's clear that after almost he's incapable of fulfilling his own statements and intents.

The Norway involvement is especially important whatever way you look at it. They're no fools.
