"Tally have to start educating people as to why they would want to hold their currency and savings in gold. This is a relatively simple process with easily readable posts on social media using the now fashionable cartoon like images to help. These could all be added on a regular basis so when someone visited their Facebook page or Twitter etc.. it would all be there for them to read and learn and understand.. rather than urrr, durr, what's it all about I'm bored now, move on and forget about it without sharing or talking to anyone about how cool it all is to own gold."
I hear you, but I think that there's the high chance of them being aware of this and just going bish-bash-bosh nearer the time of full public rollout. Whilst we're not listed there's all summer to get this bedded in and for the highly-touted advertising campaign to kick in.
People can be educated relatively quickly and I've known apps just appear with no warning and no education to the public yet catch on pretty quickly. That's not to say I think LION should be complacent, or lazy, but there are several months to potential relist and you just know when LION say 'summer' they mean the last freaking day of summer not the first few weeks. We're never going to be that lucky.
So, plenty of time for pushing the concept. I'd also hope this is where Railsbank comes in handy. If the idea can be advertised via their website then that's more coverage.
I think I'll sit up and take note when Tally hits the BBC news, Sky, or both, and starts getting full-colour spreads in financial magazines. We'll see.
