Don't most things on AIM at some point?

I've seen this kind of general stagnation after a placing many a time. Price drops for days or weeks, people get fed up and bail, pushing it down further, then it gets increased once someone's hoovered up.

'Tis the way of AIM I'm afraid. You just have to either weather it, top up/average down or try your luck elsewhere. It'll turn but only when it gets a positive signal to. That could be either a clearing and bounce or new big buyer or + update/s. We'll just have sit tight and see.

They're not. But they put themselves forward enthusiastically for it on Twitter. ST said it was talking to LION but since they're not going, RB is not going either, which is a bit of a coincidence.

They might be two separate companies but they do compliment each other strongly. You can draw your own conclusions but I get the impression RB would have gone had LION opted to go.

I think if they've turned down a presentation it's possible we're either at a critical stage or they simply have no time now. Which is why I don't think we'll get much RNS info until we launch.

They did say they were talking to them, and Railsbank piped up that they would be happy to attend. It mustn't have worked out, that's a shame.

It's via Share Talk and dates/times are here. I'd double check with ST that LION are actually attending if that's what you're going for as I can't see them on the list, but it was fated on Twitter a while ago. They were also trying to get Railsbank onboard last I heard.

And by 'transparent' I'm not implying anything underhand, just that we haven;t really been able to see the workings of what they've been up to.

Let's hope this is really special and makes a strong comeback.

If it wasn't before, it's abundantly clear now that they are trying to keep this as secretive as possible, to the detriment of us holders in terms of transparent info but, it is what it is.

I'm 100% sure that these new jobs at Tally will involve signing a NDA as part of the role.

I think people are leading themselves down the path of disappointment if they are expecting official updates from this company in its current incarnation.

There will be a presentation in Manchester in precisely 10 days time. I reckon any relevant new info will come from that and the rest is just the company getting their heads down/getting on with it now. We have a deadline for April and a lot of work to do in the meantime. I really doubt anyone will be sat at LION towers caring about writing the natives a long explanatory RNS on a delisted company that they cannot do anything about anyway. I think with this you need to put aside the expectations of official comms, watch the chat forums, watch the trade magazines, watch Twitter and go to the presentations as much as you can. Those will be the outlets most of the juicy info will come from. It's been that way so far at least.

If we do get comms via official channels it's a bonus but I've written that off until they get properly mobilised as the new Tally.

Hhman is correct though if it was applegarth who admitted he bought in on a spike. That just smells of frustration and wanting to get out asap, rather than having any interest in the company tbh.

If the mms see no valid reason to take this up to the spike price then they won't, until there's news that drives it back there. It'll come, but there's no point getting frustrated about it.

One thing is for sure, if we get off the ground and Tallymoney starts becoming a buzzword, I'll look forward to a time when I type it into Twitter and don't get instantly whisked off to the default 'Ballymoney' tag (because obviously a T looks just like a B!) where I get to find out all about the comings and goings of some place in Ireland.

Whoever it is I doubt it's Tally Solutions, which is a major name that comes up on search. They're Indian based. The main one I could see would be Meettally.com https://www.meettally.com/ which handles debt. But they're American. That could possibly be why the filing came on the same day as the US trademark filing of Dec 20th. There's also Tallyccounts: https://www.tallyaccounts.co.uk/, which is UK-based and similarly logoed but is distinguished by the accounts aspect of its identity.

Whatever it is, it would seem (unless I'm mistaken) that as they have filed the following: 'Notice of Threatened Opposition' filed [20/12/2018]. Opposition period has been extended.'

That means 1. they have potentially already used up their 2-month opposition period and have applied for the one-month extension. 2. in which case they're serious 3. the extension was filed on the 20th December which, if an added-on extension means time is up, but why no outcome? 4. If (as I suspect) the two forms (inc extension document) were filed together on the same date of Dec 20th they have a full 3 months to get in their opposition to this project. So that's an outcome by around March 20th.

I mean I guess if Tallymoney is going to knock spots off the financial industry (as hoped) then we'd better expect some opposition. These roads are rarely smooth and trouble free.

There could be a lot of grudges out there, who knows. There might have been people who from the start wanted to protest the opening of every envelope around the concept. And kind of explains the silence (though I'm certainly not trying to make excuses for it, or the way pi have been treat).

But I'm pretty sure the company would have an inkling as to who and where potential hassle was going to come from and have made plans to deal with that. Or it might be back to Goldbloc or god forbid, Lionsgold. Actually not the worst things in the world but would rather go with Tally now everyone is used to it. Fingers crossed!

Well that's it then. Someone has filed opposition, but I guess based on the use of the word 'Tally' rather than 'Tally Money' because as far as I can see there is no other company under the name Tally Money. And tally is a widely used term that you cannot really patent to one individual/company. It's like trying to patent 'oxygen'.

So I feel its a rather silly waste of time if they're protesting the word 'Tally'. Perhaps this is why Tally Money specifically was picked by the leading London based PR and market research firm? Because nobody else was using the Money part of the word. At least not in Britain. Afaics I can't see it on google elsewhere, but I haven't looked exhaustively.

Traders on AIM hardly take notice of such details. Many don;t even know what they're doing here, or what the company does.

I'll wager lots of people jumped in on the hype of news this week and when it didn't manifest in the way they wanted, out the door they go. Simple as.

Hardly surprising given the amount of Tally this that and t'other out there.
