Yes, sorry treble, I had to go to work soon after my last post.

I did follow the link on laptop and again, it is not there. As Pineapple says, maybe they just want it to be viewable on Android phones only or for now. Still curious though.

mw1969, perhaps contact lionsgold admin? Or leave feedback for the developer on the app platform?

Pineapple, I think it might not be viewable for iPhone yet?

I can still see it in the app store on my Android smartphone, which is fine.

And the app itself is working, but what threw me was that you can no longer see it on a laptop platform, which was how I viewed it and read the details to begin with. An URL was provided here and that now leads to a blank page. The updates section (reading off my phone) says the last app fixes were Jan 22nd so I'm not sure why it's suddenly not viewable from a laptop.

PS: Pineapple, I'm on Android phone.

Can you post the link to it please, treble, because the one posted here the other day just leads to a dead page now and I have tried all searches in Google play store on my laptop and it doesn't show up.

Even if an app is not downloadable onto a laptop it's still generally viewable. Cheers.

It's not that the app's not working, it that the app's not there on the store when you type it in. It's just gone.

At this current moment I'm using my laptop, which was initially the first platform I could see it on. It downloaded onto my phone well enough though, no problems.

And yet,seemingly, the app has now vanished from the app store.

Maybe it's been taken down for tweaking. The again, I do recall them saying they'd send a mailout notice when your account is ready to be opened so perhaps it's been removed because people claim to have started transferring money into it straight away and weren't meant to yet? Hence the 'unreleased' note on it.

I'm sure it'll reappear when they're ready and maybe it has just come down for further testing.

Are you able to leave feedback on the app site?

I know, deano, I'm just saying, there seems to be two parallel worlds running alongside each other, the world that exists in here and that out there. People out there seem to like him very much, whether they are involved with him or not.

I'm personally still miffed that my so-carefully collected LION ISA shares have been unceremoniously booted out of my ISA and now subject to ridiculous amounts of CGT if this does well. And CP's blase attitude to that.

On the other hand, he is the driving force behind this whole thing and without his input we probably wouldn't even be here. Anyone else and the concept and company could easily have folded by now. So I'll have to give him the benefit of the doubt. At least with the new app things look to be moving in the right direction for us.

Really, we do not need to know every time you blow your nose.

Of what interest do you think this has for 99% of people apart from yourself?

Ignore the Moreby, that was my fault cutting and pasting. It said 'stop by'.

What's interesting is how, outside of chatboards, CP's reputation doesn't seem to be tarnished at all. Industry people seem to like him.

Agree - a catch up would be great. Cameron knows he's more than welcome any time when he's in a position to stop Moreby for an updated video

Installed it onto my phone with zero problems. The initial process was easy and it looks good.

Also the little icon really jumps out, being bright yellow against a darker background.

Because unfortunately ADVFN admin are not neutral, impartial observers. The agenda-driven nature of ADVFN in the past has been well documented and I doubt much has changed.

I think we should stop fretting about weirdos and just concentrate on what we have and us getting back to market. Personally I'm really happy that the new app has got the bigger hurdle out of the way (Android) rather than going for the original option. 88% of market share for smartphones opens up a much bigger platform to us. And once the rest are onboard all bases will be covered.

The next few months could be really exciting.
