"If relist prior to IPO, SP tanks due to whiny traders and this affects likely IPO price as well as likely damaging confidence for a fledgling product going to market."
Unless Tally comes up with something newsworthy in terms of marketing the product (it's still early days yet) then exactly that is going to happen. They really need to be at a stage where peed-off investors, never mind traders, think 'aha, this has more steam in it so I won't pull all my money out and high-tail it out of here.' A major tie up in the works, big names, interest, etc. Something exciting and market grabbing.
Given that it's Tally, the child of Lionsgold, we can pretty much expect that even with the best of intentions, the journey will be in their time and no amount of chiding and whining on forums and Twitter will change CP's stoic (some would say arrogant) attitude.
But see, where investors are in a rush, the company isn't. But I think that is key to convincing investors to stay and/or bringing in new blood to replace outgoers who leave on the bell.
