Notes from Proactive Interview re SCALLYWAG drill results- 13 Dec 2023

hi viking, been here from around mid 2020, great prospects in the oz tenements with pgm's and silver and near term production by year end 2024 hopefully on han**** iron ore project.
a dfs due soon to help close funding hopefully with plenty of growth potential for more high grade dso iron ore in the future.
latest corp presentation has the different project timelines if you haven't seen yet :-)

As Shaun keeps explaining, exploring tenements like Scallywag with potential under cover minerisation and mostly unexplored will take multi year campaigns, we need to reset expecations around that fact for perhaps hitting any new discoveries vs expecting HAD05 type results.
While sat updates are fantastic for infill and growth drilling as we saw with Havieron, it has proven folly for example to get excited at GGP returning to holes on pre-discovery exploration projects such as with satellite targets on the border with Artemis etc.. If there are other ore bodies in our less explored tenements then it may still be a few years before we make another discovery.
For that reason, I tend to focus more of my attention on Havieron nowadays and have a more reactive approach to the other projects in that I prefer to await results before making any assumptions and I also assume very long turnarounds and personally have stopped logging when they may have been sent in and expected back.
This guy again, well a few of us have broken down his misinformed GGP articles on GGPChat and he's got a terrible record on his other coverage, glad he can spell research, about all he can do though :-)
Known as Lurker5 on ADVFN too, master... more a novice and not just about mining investment, some of the most poorly written and misinformed articles around investing online ever created, hope he was better in his job roles for his own sake or maybe he was 'retired' :-)

@JoesStocks - these two guys do a good job of working out what is happening with Hav sat imagery and you can also go to GGPChat to get some good breakdowns:

Don't forget in regards to development costs and projections of AISC in DFS :
- that there was a threshold of +/- 25% already factored into the PFS
- whilst you'd expect inflationary pressures to play a part in influencing AISC upwards in DFS, we also have as of yet unknown optimisations to factor into the DFS too that will have helped to combat these
- a 50% increase in production profile from 2mtpa to 3mtpa which does not correlate directly to development cost increase due to economies of scale
- increase in revenue from any increase in production also allows for more lending if required i.e scalable funding as Shaun has alluded to
- ultimately Shaun expects us to retain our relative position as a producer in the lowest cost for gold mining globally
As for the Lassonde Curve, we seem out of sync as much of our development is happening pre DFS/DTM during the 'Orphan Period'. I think the collective of those of us who held expected the existing infrastructure and development work to make us immune to the orphan Period, well it didn't and nor did GGP prove immune to money leaving the sector.
However, the fact that we have funding in principle ready once DFS/DTM made and we'll have already hit the ore body with a production ready decline (vs exploration decline) we should have a shorter phase 2nd wave with the development of stopes etc. towards first ore I presume into 2025 vs 3-5 years away.
Then there should be a another increase in value in time as the bulk or selective mining that will be planned for in addition to the SLOS mining with a PFS, DFS and DTM to increase the ore extracted from Havieron into Tier 1 territory.
'optimisations' is a broad term but could encapsulate findings from various optimisation studies around for instance using electric/solar power, optimising the production through different focus areas to feed into mining plan , looking at better contracts for any services/products required etc.
End of this article has some examples of areas that can be optimised:
