Cannot ever remember LGEN rising 8%+ in a single day. Needless to say, even more upside potential when deal announced. Brexit discount is about 30% IMO so hoping for 300 in short-term.

Woke up this morning and found RBS at the top of the board. Never seen that before, had to look twice. And this 5%+ rise just on 'path to a deal'. Can only imagine the bounce if a deal is announced - another 20% IMO. Could be time to buy.

Had not realised the Pitcher & Piano deal had been pulled and that the sale of 150 other pubs (Project Harvest) was having to be extended. Add to that the 'flattering accounting' with regards to the Welles takeover and its shares 'trading on the Greene King premium' with Mitchells & Butlers seen as a more likely target !!Really??, its not surprising that the sp tanked today. Kinda pulled the rug out from MARS in no uncertain terms. On a positive note, one of her previous articles covered how pub bosses, led by Marston’s and Greene King, were pleading for a Brexit cut to beer duty. Hoping for the best on that ...

LGEN has expanded its ETF (Exchange Traded Fund) range.
The L&G Europe Equity ETF will be run in partnership with London-based index provider Foxberry.
The fund is listed on the London Stock Exchange, and follows L&G’s announcement in June of plans to reach profit growth of between 8 per cent to 10 per cent a year from 2020.

Contract value unknown, but this clearly sets PFC up for other projects in the UAE ...

Back to the plot, and was surprised that PFC hardly got a mention in today's FT other than small negative piece stating that whereas POO is up, this is only benefitting the oil majors who are squeezing hell out of the oil services industries margins. In addition, BP has sold its Alaskan acreage and other majors are scaling back new projects to appease little green men (not aliens). Painted a bleak picture for oil services, except it did not report the inevitable consequence of this which is M&A with dirt cheap PFCs name in frame...
