Reports that Gov may need to rescue RR have now appeared. Gov cannot afford to let RR sink due to it being flagship high tech company and making defence equipment including nuclear engines for subs. There is also the famous golden share, preventing overseas takeover. Time to announce building of mini nuc power stations IMO.

Consolidation would open up trading of this share to a far wider audience of willing participants held back at present by their trading platform not being able to handle price limit orders of tiny fractions of 1p (eg Barclays). At present, only way of trading WRES on these platforms is in real time. So bring on consolidation ASAP.
