The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Indeed T.Rat, and that's just the modern water side of the business. Labskin and skin trust club offer massive potential in their ownright.
I think our biggest issue is generating the supply to meet the demand. If we build it they will come!
It wouldn't be a case of one PD unit per location either. The effectiveness of PD increases when you can isolate outbreaks. Using the prison, as an example, it would necessary to know where the outbreak is coming from, ie, Cell Block A. If so, they can isolate that block.
Putting entire prisons and care homes into lockdown isnt sensible, so i see numerous units per location.
It's safe to say that 200 a month isnt enough if this really takes off...
Nebraska to start covid wastewater surveillance. I cant access the news articles as they are all american (?) but each article is only a few hours old.
I can access the below:

I wonder if DVRG is involved?
A lot of decent contributors on this board. T.Rat deserves praise for his tireless work digging up various links etc
A womens fashion retailer. I dont know much about them, but they have around 16 store locations in the south of England, some in John Lewis stores. Maybe this merchant will trial in store payments as well as online.
It will be interesting to see how long it takes for this merchant to go live
"Billed as a "once-in-a-generation" spending measure, the infrastructure legislation proposes $550bn in new federal expenditure, over the next eight years, to upgrade highways, roads and bridges, and to modernise city transit systems and passenger rail networks.
The agreement also sets aside funding for clean drinking water, high speed internet, and a nationwide network of electric vehicle charging points."
I like that last paragraph in particular! I wonder who has the tech to aid clean drinking water?

It goes hand in hand with the units recently shipped. So, it's either the UK, china or india. The latter two are bigger markets than the UK. So a grounded view is that if its "only" the UK then there is government interest from the smallest of the three
It did state the UK, but the UK specifically excludes Ireland. So its either in england, wales, scotland or northern ireland. All share the same central government, with country by country varriances
Adapting the tech and getting it to successfully detect and monitor covid was a hurdle overcome months ago.
Getting government interest and securing contracts is the current hurdle. This RNS confirms the interest, and if it works as well as GB confirms it to then i can't see the UK gov saying "no"
Let's be honest, they know the economics as part of the trial. They probably wouldn't even entertain a trial if they expected to say "no" upon success
Good times ahead i feel
I believe someone said that there are 4,000 wastewater treatment plants in the UK. £80k a pop (if trial successful and the gov adopt it) would be revenues of £320m! Easily afordable to the UK gov.
China/cork can produce up to 200 units a month, so it would take just under two years to kit out the UK's waste water treatment plants.
All based on a successful trial and adoption, but fact the UK gov have even launched this trial means they are interested. Exciting times
I recall GB mentioning that COP26 could highlight some interesting news. This was a few weeks back in an interview.
COP26 is next week and we already know that the next generation units have been shipped to the UK, india and china.
One of the discussion points of COP26 is wastewater treatment and re-use of it.
What are the chances that we get some big news re PD in the next week or so? Whether from the company directly or not, the agenda at COP26 will discuss wastewater and the information that comes from that may well outline a plan or product that could be introduced. Given we are the leading (only?) company that can provide instantaneous results it would be pretty exciting if any reference is made to a "could be" DVRG product
£84k has come from their own pockets, similar to a PI investing. S&S have stuck around £25-30k in each as one of the directors put in less.
The cash reserves of the company has nothing to do with this transaction
Directors sinking £84k into the company, not a bad sign at all. They wouldn't do this if they didnt see significant value in doing so. Victory alone (should they find a buyer) will result in a large return alone
I think this is daybreak:

$0.033 x 160m shares = $5.28m / £3.8m value to RBD if so
However, that SP is based on a current mcap of $2.12m and presumably does not reflect the new assets, but presumably pre-dilution.
That's all based on it being the same company
