In the same way I don't think individual posters can influence what holders do or don't do at any point in time - I also don't think whether an individual buying or selling makes any difference to the macro trend. On that basis why are top up messages celebrated but I've taken profits messages denigrated?

Each has their own reasons for buying, selling or holding. Ultimately the aim of the game is to make money (if it can be for save the planet altruistic opportunities, then all the better).

My Grandad always told me -sell when others are buying, buy when others are selling - it has stood me in good stead over the years, even if I don't always follow it.

This drop was in the charts - believe it or not, act on it or not, but stop whining about it. The charts just represent market (that is people) behaviour. The MSCI entry was overbought and some who hoped to profit from it lost out and sold, some bought into the trend and are taking profits. This too will pass and the price will become too tempting for those with their eyes on the future opportunities and the wheel turns full circle as they start buying in. The hard bit is knowing when each season is starting and ending.

But just think of all that excitement to look forward to when it goes back up with the next contract RNS

Not particularly a reply to you @breakofdawn but I picked your thread title as the most optimistic today. You are absolutely correct, it is just going to take one - hyhdropulse contract or Alpha50 or large Neptune or Chronos related to drive this forward.

The recent rise has been fantastic hitting 219p but it never ceases to amaze me that as soon as the share price falls back a bit people think of selling (but didn't while it was rising). As Bilbo says - know your plan, know what price (or total profit) you will sell at (or not sell as holding) and stick with it. If one sells, one sells, if one holds, one holds, of one buys more, one buys more. All of those decisions/actions were made for a reason at the time.

Have courage in one's convictions and keep going. If the share price falls a bit it is normal market mechanics before it goes up again.

Yeah - but ultimately still 10p higher than 1 month ago and £1 higher that a year ago - and again in a much more strategically sound position than this time last year - with June likely to bring a succession of announcements.

@tennents maybe - but whichever of our hangers on it was, by my reckoning crudely looking at the sell volumes roughly they three 250k shares on it to just push it down a few pence it is already clawing back.

Looks more like a last gasp attempt to drive the price down - 150k shares dropped by the look of it and someone(s) swooped in and mopped them up. Any LTH trying to trade out this month need to give their heads a wobble - Dennis likes to queue his announcements and that was yet another unexpected one. The Cromarty bit was anticipated the rest of it including validation of the Hydropulse model and now first dibs on Protium's other HAR projects were wishes before.

The more times I read the RNS the better it looks. The Government has directly invested in ITM and is supporting the Chronos assembly line, Protium has a number of HAR1,2,3 projects with HAR2 announcements imminent and the Government is going to be announcing the winners against a backdrop of being told by the Treasury to buy British...

Never said they were - someone(s) else is. The shorts are too stupid and stubborn to be buying at the moment, will just cost them more in the long run

Just imagine having to use all those shares that had been borrowed to drive the price down today just to try and stop it shooting up...
