So the last few weeks it’s panned out between a couple of ranges…..when it gets near the bottom of the range the one trader kicks in and we are allowed to post everything positive related to Gcm ……now when we get to the top of those ranges we are virtually exterminated,anything to do with anything and mining,Chinese,even the politics,even to put the efforts in to get an account suspended ……then the one trader knocks off the buying and big lumps of stock are passed through….rinse and repeat!!……..now this is more than joe bloggs trading I’m certain,it doesn’t really matter but it’s worth keeping an eye on……I don’t know what the cunning plan is but if it involves small shareholders going forward I’m happy to watch this unfold

I think the big juggling will be pending how much of a mention we get in the new energy policy if it’s just extraction of local coal 30p….Dnaijpur 40p…..phulbari 50p……these are my personal expectations 👍

A raise at 7.5p for £500k would be no more than a 5% dilution……paltry,and why would you raise now on this trajectory when the company has cash till 2026?…….anyway expect anything on aim!!…..that’s just moi opinion

Can you remember the big Phulbari day protest in July headed by the eminent Anu Muhammad political activist etc?…..he said at that protest if action wasn’t taken for memorial etc and compensation he was going to ramp up the actions in August to get things sorted!!……..now Mr Muhammad never stepped anything up in August or September so I wonder if compensation has been forthcoming?…….just a thought and maybe another piece in the jigsaw

A gas article but domestic gas/ coal are hand in hand to keep the import costs down and the turbines turning…….it’s basically lambasting the inaction by previous govts but as we now know the ministers were skimming the import fuel contracts so it was never going to happen……..bnp should have a straight bat 😉 and they want domestic resources

The government should immediately move to develop Bhola’s gas prospects through a professional reserve assessment. It should also revisit the earlier pipeline route from Shabazpur to Digholia and secure the ROW. If an international tender for constructing a 24-inch cross-country pipeline on an EPC basis is floated by June 2026, Bhola gas could begin supplying the Barishal and Khulna regions by 2030.

At the same time, BAPEX and IOCs should be allowed to conduct extensive exploration in Barishal and Khulna to identify additional resources. Policymakers must rely on experienced professionals, not opportunists or fortune-seekers. Enough time has already been wasted. Bangladesh cannot afford to let Bhola gas remain stranded while the national grid struggles for supply.

Just a thought for the evening,I respect the time served holders here and love hearing how things panned out last time Gcm was on the cusp of greatness……I know the world is a different place now and Gcm has a bigger free float than 20yrs ago,but if I dare just say everything went a little too perfect last time around…..the rise of the shareprice,the news flow,the positivity from management at every opportunity but in the end it was never going to get off the ground!!…..someone made a lot of money taking gcm to that point but the whole world seemed to be against it in the end??……now all that said look at the way phulbari/Gcm prospect 2 has shaped up??…..it’s been virtually under the radar and it’s the community that’s put the pieces together and now we have a monster prospect taking shape under the radar this time…I don’t know why but I could hazard a gues!!…….so if there’s anything to take away from the shenanigans we have been submitting too since March 2024 it’s the very fact this is shaping up totally different to phulbari/Gcm 1 which in my eyes makes this all the more juicy because it’s low profile for a reason 👍

Sorry for my absence this weekend guys…..I was suspended from 5.30pm Friday till 8am this morning…..all rather convenient wouldn’t you say,anyway some excellent info over the weekend searcher,personally I think no matter how much they protest for teesta they will need the confirmation from the Chinese foreign minister for funding to take it forward,Bangladesh is broke…..China is the only entity interested in taking this forward and it will be with the inclusive of Phulbari in writing imho not just a wink and a nod
