Evening guys…..khosru is a regular visitor up north,promoting the jobs to great employment opportunity with the new bnp govt?….I wonder if they had been doing a reconnaissance earlier in the year to see where best to position Khaleda?…if you had agreed with the Chinese in your private meetings that Teesta would only make headlines under a new bnp govt,bnp could have agreed phulbari in theory as the sums for Teesta only work with phulbari…….Khosru today saying all the plans to get the country on its feet are already done??……

Khosru said the BNP has already completed much of the groundwork for reforms in key sectors, including administration, policing and governance, to ensure that, if the party receives a mandate to form the government, it can begin implementing its plans from day one.

That gas they found at bhola at the end of October I didn’t realise how small the pockets are till I crunched a few numbers,so if they pull all that gas from that latest well every last cubic ft it would meet the deficit the country needs for about 160 days,yea that’s just the deficit not adding anything new!……thats what they are up against,and there are logistical issues to get that gas to the grid so this really is one heck of an energy crisis…….spot gas up nearly 30% in the last month…..this must all go towards a new cast iron coal extraction policy…👍

Ok it’s a bit geeky but I’ve looked at the energy output from these basically sub stations in the northern area of Bangladesh and you can understand why they get in trouble quick when Bara goes down….transmission lines are no more than mid voltage and if you look at everything right over to Teesta there’s one heck of a crisis looming if it gets the go ahead…….China is well within their rights to do the technicals on this as they will need massive extra power supplies to make this work……
