Agreed Daltry but that unfortunately will put pressure on governments bonds and increase interest rates more than the current curve….not good for an economy built on debt and a housing Ponzi scheme dependent on 0% interest rates! True capitalism got f… over in 08 it’s all now coming back to bit like 89/93 then we had a proper recession adjustment and reset as a healthy economy should..! That is going to happen now, but there will be an awful lot of pain as there was back then! They are out of magic bullets… the game, of printing money, and artificially suppressing interest rates, unfortunately doesn’t work in a true inflationary environment which they have caused with the manipulation… ,They blame it on Russia and Ukraine, partly true but unfortunately it’s something that’s been in the pipeline building for the last 15 years! You print trillions globally artificially inflate asset prices! and suppress rates for years globally and wonder why you end up with high inflation central banks have become dangerous with to much power but unfortunately the follow there over masters lead be it governments and bankers! Rant over! :) What a mess!

I agree with easyp it would be a complete waste of time and effort if CA wasn’t behind it, and I believe if they wanted them out they would’ve been out at the AGM I don’t think they like them or respect them in the least! that I believe there is an agenda that will become apparent soon….

You forget the fact that there an awful lot of companies out there peddling a great idea of promise, milking shareholders money, not fulfilling the sales pitch but still have stupid valuations now you could argue people believe in the bull**** that they are peddling and that is potential which is value!?
Regardless of the one well we are generating cash no debt show me how many companies with massive valuations are not normally leveraged, at least 30% of market cap… and as you said, we are virtually at cash value but unlike others we can invest that … with a clean balance sheet, even leverage , if the right opportunity that generates cast comes along.! Not a bad place to be in the down side is negligible sitting at cash value and increasing after ever lift! The upside is far greater than the downside…

In the meantime oil moving up and the war chest getting bigger!… sorry Jool the T… didn’t you say oil was down up to $95 and soon to return to over $100 the saudis will make sure of that..! Must try harder or at least get your facts right if you’re going to deramp continuously!

We become more reliant and dependent on insecure supply! This might not concur with the go green environmentalist, but it’s called reality! We’re not in a position for alternative power as a complete replacement at present! Political rhetoric and reality are two different things!
