Placings are always a possibility on AIM. Part of the territory.... Cash resources will eventually determine the necessity of a placing I'm sure since there are no earnings. Don't have to be Einstein to work that out. Im here for two reasons. BGML and the Deccan merger ( which has a number of connotations for Kolar). There are risks, there are always are at this level. But if only one of the above comes off this will multibag from here no question whatsoever. And yes they would need funding for Kolare development but if it gets it that stage I'm very happy. Vedanta have already stated their interest in BGML but Kolar have the ace card of first refusal. This ones not for you Jollers as I know you like a quick 10-20% er.

Full year profits pencilled in for £750k which would put company on current PE of 11. Undemanding for a growth company. Currently 'under the radar'.

I see the bid is creeping up as well today which is a good sign.

Someone seems to be soaking up any spare shares that come onto the market by the looks. Perhaps Ruffer still accumulating. Checked out their website. They set out never to lose money. Don't we all(!) but hey not sure how realistic that is when you're investing! Anyway they seem to share our view that this is good value at this price. Possibly EXCEPTIONAL value.

Oh dear NOT good news

A decent run to start here in the two weeks leading up to what should be very solid results around the 19th. Worth climbing aboard for the ride. Check out the rise this time last year. Expecting good things here and it WON'T take much to move the price such is the iliiquidity (currently).

Agreed. This is a fabulous punt at this price. Precious little downside and major upside potential. Has simply been typical AIM drift on lack of progress/news. That could be about to change and this won't take much to shift. Surprised the governmental moves on Kolar haven't prompted the company to issue an RNS to keep the market informed as, to me, it's significant development.

Preliminary results for y/e 31.10.2914 are due on 19.2.2015. Expecting strong performance due in part that the majority of companies earnings are in USD. Well run business and worth looking at. DYOR

Spot on. A bit of volume this morning and nice to see we're on the leaders board. This has been quiet and drifted for some time so wondering what has pepped up interest? Could of course be the very low SP compared to the potential.

Islandgirl - you could be right but it was unfortunate that no explanation was provided for what was a very substantial sale. And at a key time of change for the company with change of CEO. I remain cautious for now but consider that should the new CEO keep going in the same positive direction that MH has taken the company I may reinvest.

Yes it's a slightly tricky one. He could have 'personal reasons' but they didn't even stick that caveat in there! Maybe he isn't terribly impressed by the new boss? The negatives I picked up were the substantial hedge $1240 well under the current gold price. It may of course be prudent should the gold price drop back substantially from here but I'm not so sure it will. Also they are 'concerned' about the mining equipment and finally I was disappointed with AISC which came in higher than I hoped for given huge fall in cost of fuel which makes up a big part of their costs. So all in all not so great IMHO.

Luke Leslie (NED) has flogged his entire holding yesterday for average of 10.62p. I can see the two trades, both yesterday morning and both looked like sells. By my calculations that represents a big loss for him! What's going on there I wonder? I did feel reading between the lines it wasn't such a great RNS yesterday. A few questions there.

bornagain -close, I make it 27.73% so substantial dilution. I suspect better opportunities for re-entry to come notwithstanding soaring gold price of course...
