What a s*it month this has been. We are down nearly 20% from the high of 26.88 hit at the end of May. And literally every day has been a down day - not a single up day. I just hope it's not signalling a problem with the CD4 trials, a delay perhaps?

Scissors - would it not be unusual for short positions to be open for 2 years? That said it has occurred to me that this might be shorted but the fundamentals don't appear to support a short position. There are so many shares in issue I don't suppose an entity would find it hard to be loaned some. Then, this morning we see some very very suspicious trading activity. A raft of 200k 'sells' followed by an even greater. Number of 200k buys.

Sold some others to raise the cash 😉

I totally agree. There are some real games being played here now. A blatant attempt to drive down the SP and so easy using such small parcels of money (5k). I wonder if it is our Richard manipulating the SP down to get some more back later? A fantastic opportunity being presented.

Indeed it could. I'd discounted Ghana as one of my investment reasons here so the fact that it's been re-ignited is a bonus. Just another factor which makes this an ever greater opportunity imho. A 50% + return here within three months/six max is perfectly realistic now given the expected newsflow. I'd love to pick up some more at 4p but not until funds allow. The market hasn't reacted yet so the chance is still there!

Ctw - seriously? I have absolutely zero interest in investing here. This management is totally discredited and therefore uninvestable imho. I am merely commenting - giving my view. The idea that I could get a lower entry price by making a negative comment is utterly ridiculous.

Absolutely zero chance of moi losing my nerve;) You make excellent and pertinent points. Agree wholeheartedly. And we know this sp is extremely sensitive due to the illiquidity of stock. I'm more inclined to be adding not reducing on weakness but funds don't currently permit it. Yes, RENE I suspect is a technical bounce as it's extremely oversold.

perky - I daresay they'll spend the rest of the year calibrating...calibrating their ever mystical order book....or recalibrating admin expenses (upwards again) As for polishing, the only thing being polished is this turd of an operation.

What the major issue is here currently. It's a delay in the PIII trial. The RNS in April talked about application to FDA in this quarter and start of trial in H2. The recent RNS changes that completely. Now we have application in Q4 and start of trial 'early next year'. That's a big change. The market doesn't like delays so some people are offloading for now. Kicking myself for not noticing before. I normally do pick up on these things. So, no matter, it's a longer term hold that's all. I still think it's at least a bagger, if not multi bagger with a 12 month timeframe.

Could have been a LOT better! It's a well known script. Year in year out fox come up with an 'order book' for which only a tiny fraction is ever converted into real sales. And they've now even admitted that they've delayed the start of production at the new factory because there's not enough work! A current MC valuation of £18m is extremely generous imho given pitiful revenues - ongoing losses - they are a million miles from becoming cash generative. The SP should be half or less of what is now until such time as they can demonstrate they are winning regular large orders.

Basically anyone selling now is selling for a loss and once you reach that point you are goi g to reach saturation point and reaching the bottom. There is nothing fundamentally wrong here. Nothing has changed. Indeed, they are more advanced than they were when the sp was more than double this level! The downside risk from here is far less than the upside potential. Of course we may trade sideways for a while but I can be patient. :)

Seems an almost impossible task but I am now a very keen buyer at these prices. Picked up some more this morning and any spare funds will go here as imho this is extremely oversold. Yes I hear the view that there are long timelines but this is simply too cheap now - MC barely above cash on BS. That's crazy when you consider they will be applying for PIII stroke trial later this year + other IP/projects.

Interesting start today. We had an early sp rise. Some volume early doors and now sp has slipped back again.
