Very positive article in IC today suggests that you would be wise to hang on in there and await the payoff.
Why no comments or analysis of results in IC. Little comment elsewhere or have I just missed it all while I have been in Spain?
Let us hope that Globo's Costis gets an unlimited fine and seven years!!!
The Zambian Kwacha has bombed against the dollar (almost halved in 12 months) thus the dive in the share price. I fear that we will have to wait for the currency to improve before recovering recent falls. Probably a decent buy at this price.
But why the change in Nomad?
Thank you Andreas for a very helpful reminder of what is good in this business David
This does not reflect well on the Company. IFRS10 has been around for some time. What has the FD been doing that only now is this standard being considered and implemented. Doh!!
Delay in results to complete IFRS10 reporting requirements. Surely they have had long enough to get this completed - they flagged it back in the Sept RN. Is this cover for takeover negotiations being underway?
Agreed plus or minus a few pennies. Surprising that the price has not yet moved much! Just have to sit and wait for the distribution and then for the US to be taken over. Now that would be the cigar moment! enjoy

Positive article by ST in the IC today http://www.investorschronicle.co.uk/2015/09/08/comment/simon-thompson/get-ready-for-take-off-qpR5bAcszxmk4zrp9hbO8J/article.html
Why would they want to do that when they can buy in the market at 32p?
They have a strong focus on Australasia so might be thought to be vulnerable to that but they have recently completed the planned sale of two older planes and taken delivery of new. All aircraft are leased out to solid name clients. Results, which should be good, are due out 1 Sep. In my book you have timed your purchase well. Regards D
Oily, Yes was me. I took the plunge and liquidated other holdings to enable me to buy a further £40k worth in my SIPP. After losses with Camkids and Polo this has transformed my year!
Oops - Getting all too excited! Price should be 1.82 and therefore might sell now at £1.70 to £1.75
With a distribution of say £1.42 plus residual US company value of say 40p share price should be say £1.72. The timing of the cash return to investors is not yet confirmed but it would appear to be worth holding on unless shares can be sold in the market now for say £1.60 to £1.65. What a result!
