Sold in chunks of 50k or so a time!
Check out the 330,000 or so shares sold yesterday in the hour or so prior to announcement!
I am wondering about the large sales made prior to yesterdays close of business announcement that sent the shares plummeting. Could there be connected parties here with prior knowledge!
We should be getting news soon. Indications were payment would be made between Sept - Dec. My reckoning was for a further 17p per share if the £1.88 total value was correct. Might be more if the final sale proceeds were in dollars. Does anyone know anything?
I am hoping this SP will start moving up with the results due out early Sept. AVAP operates in dollars so we should see a healthy uplift from currency gain plus they have been steadily increasing fleet numbers and quality of leases. 2017 is meant to be the big step up in profits but the news this year should also be positive. Anyone out there with an opinion?
We are risen!
Beaver - I suggest that you visit the RM2 website where it is clearly listed! I think we can take it as fact.
This is brewing nicely ahead of an end of March announcement regarding run off of investment cases and return of capital to shareholders. I for one expect to see healthy gains from this level.
Thanks PJ - no sign of mine yet. Hopefully that leaves at least a further 17p to come in September. Did the payment come with any estimate re. future payments?
Does anyone know what progress, if any, has been made re the second distribution, which I understood was to be made on or around 24th Feb?
Helpful comment Jimbo. Thanks DH
Aubrey has a million Lupton 400k and thats it - less than 1% of the issued shares. Thats a surprisingly low investment given that they are saying this is al set to fly.
That the board hold so few shares and that there has been very little buying by them? Given the great story I would have expected more activity.
Great timing to get the cash whilst the market is down. Have reinvested all the ill gotten gains. It has more than made up for my unfortunate experience with Globo and Camkids so Simon T at Inv. Chron. is forgiven!
The liquidator has replied and said that the first distribution cheques were sent out on Wednesday 13th Jan. They are paying 163p per share retain slightly more than initially indicated against a potential tax liability but once tax is settled anticipate making a full release of retentions.
Thanks 50g. The RNS says that a first distribution will be on or around 11th Jan. I find it frustrating that the liquidator makes no announcement as to actual timing or whether they have now sent payment out. I have emailed them to ask why they don't provide such info on say the old company web site but so far no reply. I like to keep an eye on my SIPP provider to ensure they don't sit on my cash! Likewise will post once it arrives
