Hi Carolinear - To be fair he comes up with a lot of interesting companies. I have invested in quite a few of his and made money. Some of course lose money but overall I am nicely ahead on companies he puts forward. At the very least he is putting fwd a good number of companies for you to choose from. Thats the rub though - "for you to choose from"! GLA on this one.

In the half year report date 12th September the Co said: "Further national-level authorisations expected to follow soon after the 120 day period following Malta's approval which ends today. Eden's advisors and licensees are now able to interact directly with the regulating authorities in order to formalise national approvals as quickly as possible." So that period is now just about up and therefor other approvals ought to be imminent. This might well be an opportune time to top up! What do others think?

I agree - more a question of when and not if.

Me too! Interesting to note brave buys today at around 180 but I guess with 167 coming back on Jan 12 they are really looking at net risk funds of (!80-167) 13p in the expectation of getting back a further 21p (188-167). So 8p gain on 13p risked. Not a bad return if you have the free cash!

RNS states...that on 11 December 2015, Stephen Boyd, the Company's Deputy Chairman, purchased 40,000 shares in the Company at a price of 188p per share. Now why would he do that unless of course the final payout is expected to be more than 188p per share!

of US operation approved at the GM. Notice of GM meeting to appoint the liquidator to follow "shortly". We should soon get an indication of how much they expect to distribute.

50g In case it's of any interest AJBell have confirmed to me that I can hold my Pure shares in my SIPP through to the end of the liquidation process. GL to all!

I agree - likewise I too will sit tight and see how this pans out. Every bit of analysis I do shouts out for a share price somewhere north of 200p and with these shares in my SIPP I pray that I am right!

50g Do you know whether the shares can be retained in a SIPP through the delisting and liquidation process until cash distributions are received?

At end June Inland had net funds of 192p per share plus the value of the US business (37.5). So 192p plus 37.5p = 229.5p. Even if we say 225p I do not understand why the price is currently 167.5. What am I missing here?

Doze : I read this as meaning the company is being liquidated with all funds and proceeds to be returned to shareholders. What do you mean by "surplus value to be used for another business"?

Yes he says "In today's column, I am focusing on another special situation that's in play, too, and one where the end game could be reached by the time the board issues a pre-close trading update in mid-January." Now wouldn't that be nice!
