I have just got back to my hotel here in Pristina after visiting a couple of quarries and the factory. I was picked up this morning and shown round by the local general manager. At the quarries: I saw marble faces being cut and quarried using heavy plant all marked up with FOX logos and workmen all in FOX work gear. Each quarry had a number of open faces and there were plenty of quarried blocks all marked up with the FOX logo plus block number. Each block having been photos and logged onto a database ready for sale or for processing. I took a number of photos that I will try to post up and link when I get home. THE FACTORY The factory is for real. It is well located with straightforward access to highways. The power link is installed via a dedicated substation and there is an adequate water supply. The building is essentially a shell built on very solid foundations designed to support the heavy stone and plant. It is designed to have three cutting bays, one of which had just been commissioned and was cutting a block of marble whilst we were there. Again I took photos. The second cutting bay looked to be almost complete but was not yet operational and the third cutting bay looked to be in parts but not yet commissioned. I imagine that when fully operational the three bays would run with two out of three operational at any one time leaving the third to be maintained with blades replaced etc. The cutting bays will fees the resin and polishing lines. These were in the factory but not yet operational. They were being installed by Italian operators who explained that it would be a matter of days to finish the assembly but longer for the programming of the equipment to carry out the computer controlled process. The Italian installer indicated that he should have it all operating within a month. I thought he was being over confident and that perhaps end Feb might be more realistic. There is a dedicated water supply with a special filter system that lets them recycle water used as coolant in the cutting process. So all in all - there is a factory - it contains all the key parts of the production line - there is plenty of marble ready in block form and huge quantities accessible in Fox quarries. The local staff are really optimistic and convinced that Fox is going to contribute to their economy. Kosovo as a country is a US, UK and EU project. There is a lot of development funding going into the country. For me having seen the resources and the sheer quantity of marble in the ground plus the factory very close to being operational I am convinced that it will be up and running in 2017. That leaves the big question will they be able to sell it? I suspect that once they are processing the large quantity currently held as large uncut blocks then buyers will be happy to place orders. I can well understand that buyers might have been reluctant to do so without the factory completion. I am going to tuck these away and wait for production

I understand that the factory is about 4.5kilometres south of the airport in the village of Ribar I Madh. I hold a reasonable number of shares in fox but have become nervous about progress, or more accurately the lack thereof! Having experience of Quindell and Globo where I made 75k and then lost 75k, though both were scams, I thought I should do what we are always told to do I.e. DYOR. I have therefore decided to do my own research so am off to Pristina on 12th Dec for three nights at the Sirius hotel. I plan to visit the factory to see for myself how things are progressing. Fox have been receptive and offered to arrange someone to show me around. I live in Switzerland and flights from Geneva on Easyjet are cheap as chips and the hotel is not expensive so I'm thinking that a few hundred quid should be money well spent and help me decide whether to buy more or sell out. I'll let you know how it goes.

It appears that management are so pleased with their results that they have posted them twice. :) They look pretty good to me.

Setting to one side the impact of currency conversions I for one have been mightily encouraged by the growth across the board in the business. It has been outstanding. Add to this the strong indicators for this growth to continue into a huge market, for continuing benefits of debt reduction and for an anticipated steady exchange rate through 2017 then this time next year the reported figures 2017 v 2016 are likely to be stunning in both currencies. I will be holding on to these.

on these for a long time watching Kenny`s posts with supporting input from JohnLewis. Well after a couple of nervous years they are at last in healthy profit and looking set for serious upgrading into next year. It feels good to be part of this success story.

Another profitable disposal per today's RNS. Add in the likely sale of the ATR turboprop fleet and the IC tip should be even stronger. Two pounds by Christmas?

This latest RNS could push valuations to a far more realistic level similar to its peers. In my book £2 to £2.20 is a distinct possibility . Is the predator BOC Aviation who raised a billion dollars earlier this year?! Lets hope so!

A further 4p per share further distribution in my SIPP account today. No comment anywhere about further amounts, which by my reckoning should be another 13p at least if all has gone to plan.

I provided an explanation to help him and I expressed a view that he perhaps needed a bit more knowledge before risking his funds. You seem to be the one with insulting opinions and name calling. However we move on. :)

I think the board have failed to keep us accurately informed. I will take the 32p divi and then sit on my hands then wait for a final distribution hoping that the liquidation realises a fair bit more than 17p (49 - 32). Lets hope the reserves are over cautious.

No after paying out 32p a share the company will have 32p a share less assets than it has today. so in theory the shares will then each be worth 32p less. Its really very simple. The question is what are the residual assets worth after the divi. To be honest if you do not follow this then I am not sure you should be investing in equities!!
