Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
“Potential to be significantly cash generative”, “Growing portfolio of interests” etc etc. All optimistic sounding and demonstrating action but market not impressed. Down 7%. Like me it wants to see something a little more concrete. Did this RNS have to go out now? Why not wait until “imminent” news is known? Softening us up for a placement?
I’ve put some money in this merely as a long odds punt. Could someone tell me what the chances of actually finding Lithium are? O&G is 25%.
Has to be surely? If it isn’t then management of old will look even more inept. I’m sure someone will be quick to point out that that isn’t possible.
All I’m saying, and after bitter experience, you need an RNS with positive concrete news before any meaningful and sustained rise.
Classic rise without an RNS followed by drop back the next day. It stinks. But that’s AIM for you. Still hoping this will take off soon.
Crude, the issue for me is whether his enthusiasm crossed the border into hype and breached AIM rules. I never attended any of the glitzy events Sound organised but I got the very clear impression from comments on here that investors were given an incredibly overly optimistic view of the future, almost as if the whole thing was a slam dunk multi-bagger. Too much “golden tickets” and not enough “there are no guarantees and this may come to nothing”. Yes I want enthusiasm from my CEOs but I also want measured and balanced behaviours too. James strikes me as quite charismatic and probably honourable but also as someone who got a bit carried away and probably crossed the line albeit with good intentions. It would be good to have some kind of review or inquiry to assess whether he did or did not breach the rules. I pressed the buy button but the question is was I unduly influenced? I’d like to know.
Going back and looking at this again it said that the project may not be commercially successful or generate any revenues for the company. Do people think that statement is still valid as there was no similar statement in the RNS of 1st July?
It’s frustrating when a website is so rarely updated. Very optimistically I suppose they might think that it might be commercially sensitive to state that you’re going to an expo in China but that’s a stretch to say the least. I know they are trying to save money but how much would it cost to post a paragraph or two in current developments? A neglected website is not a good look.

The one dated December 2019? Or am I missing something? Happy to be pointed in right direction.
Indeed, what are the timescales?
Let’s see what PWC say. If the case is strong they might settle quickly. Hopes for yet another cheque are rising. Mind you it’s still got a long way to go. I won’t ever get all my money back.
Is this happening in the UK?

This is the best I could find from 2016. “For example, in 2014, the European Commission received 3,715 complaints. However, very few cases actually reach the ECJ with only 31 judgments were given to member states in 2015.”
Does anyone know how many companies have taken EU nations to court in say the last 5 -10 years and of those how many have won?
But Apple won’t allow it.
News must be coming.
You must be very confident in future prospects.
Thanks GrumpyScouser. Been here since RT days and lost a fair amount so glad to get something back.
Is the 40p reflected in the SP? Surely not?
