What’s going on? After months of sitting at around the 90 mark the sp appears to be on a gradual slide downhill. Is this the start of AIM shenanigans leading up to the autumn court case?
Thanks, but I still think they could have been more specific. Why not refer specifically to TE10? Coupled with the “transition period” reference it has all the feel of approaching the endgame. I suppose it could be my own subconscious desire for an imminent LE maybe affecting my judgement!
Forgive me if this is naive or already been asked but surely it is now clear that TE11 won’t be drilled. “ ...operational programme...expected to complete towards the end of H1 2019”. “....during THE transitional period....until 13th August”. That sounds pretty definitive doesn’t it? If there was any prospect of TE11 being drilled they would have couched the RNS slightly differently.
Crude, not sure I could bear to see my wife’s eyes roll yet again if I say “just another year darling”. But I agree it might come to that. Would Shell/Repsol lash out £££ just on the back of TE10 plus the other parts? Have they gambled in the same way in the past?
I think I’ll keep my eyes shut for a bit, maybe look again in a few weeks.
Unusually big spread for SOU at 8%. I’m down on the bid but the SP is up 4%..????
Why is it taking them so long? It can’t be that complicated surely? The facts are the facts aren’t they? Who are the SFO answerable/accountable to?
Partridge I completely agree. When I look across all my Aim investments there is one common theme: I’m waiting. It’s the nature of the beast and we all have to be patient.
Just over 3 months ago the shares were at 11p. We are better off now than we were then. Today’s drop is off the back of what news? None. We’ve been here before where the Sp moves pending news. We have every reason to be optimistic, the LE price will be much higher than it is now so I’m keeping my nerve. All imho
I would have thought that, assuming TE10 is a success, then whether the LE happens then will depend on A (obviously) there is a buyer and B whether JP and the team think that TE11 will add materially to the price. If they think it will then we will see further drilling and testing ahead and the LE will be later in the year. All imho.
Is current drop mostly some people taking profit?
Completely agree. Don’t invest, especially on AIM, if you can’t afford the loss. I’ve been here a while and I’m holding out. I think it will be worth it. But if it all goes pear shaped i’ll have learnt a lesson and I’ll know not to invest in Slovenia ever again.
Sp and ask at just over 17, bid at nearly 22...????
..price dropping. News (bad) imminent? I hope it’s just a blip.
Might be a stupid question but do you have to be an EU member to bring a case against a member state in the European court? I’m assuming so. Assuming we lose the right to do that then the Slovenian court would be our only other option.
Still too early to say IMHO. It could all come good. The most frustrating share? Yes. But it’s AIM and it’s O&G so patience is a pre-requisite.
Surely it must be possible for the Slovenian authorities to provide a rough timescale on the granting/denial of the permits. None of us can be certain but it seems likely that the company has provided all the answers and information required so they must be able to roughly when a decision will be made. When rather than what would do me now.
GS....it’s both. Defies logic. I feel as helpless as ever. I suppose I could bale out but after so long it would feel like RT has had me over again so I’ll be holding and hoping.
...and meanwhile the fans in the stand are blinded by the sun. The fielders seem to be mostly standing still...
Can someone say if the chance of success has changed following the RNS. One assumes so but to what?
