Exactly, and so is already on its way back up.
SP up 8% and no comment from anyone....? Not long to wait now.
I’d love to know what the BOD think the COS is for a satisfactory sale.
The market likes the news. That has to be a good sign.
What on earth were they playing at? Are they also not culpable?
If we have heard nothing by the end of September or maybe October I will be really worried. Surely any serious player will have at least made an approach by now and will be going through the process. No indication of an offer by the autumn will mean they’re not interested and no one else is either. But it’s not over till it’s over! All IMHO of course.
....is what I’m feeling. I hope I’m wrong.
What sort of fee will Rothchilds be getting? I assume a percentage basis so they do very well out of it irrespective of the sale price but hopefully it’s structured in such s way so as to ensure we don’t get totally ripped off.
Seems like this stock is slowly drifting south. It held at around 90 for quite a while but since the results the decline has been slow and steady. Can’t wait for the legal case then I might be able to get out of this mess, assuming the SFO have clarified their position and said they won’t be pressing charges...I can dream can’t I?
Surely the company is worth assets + future revenue stream and that’s the unknown. I’m steeling myself but ever hopeful.
Sheps, one of the most sensible posts I’ve seen on this board. The stuff is in the ground and it’s worth a fortune. Let’s just sit back and wait.
I think they’ve collaborated before. Probably safe to assume that Dow have screwed then into the ground commercially so not hugely financially beneficial to MW who are happy to just be associated with a big name. But at least they are actually doing business together so may lead to bigger things....? All IMHO.
“....world leading technology...”. So WHY isn’t the product flying off the shelves? What IS the problem?
Schlumberger are technology providers and are not the same as Shell etc., who have the resources to exploit what MIGHT be under the ground. It must surely be about whether the big boys trust the seismic and other data and whether it’s worth the candle.
Doesn’t make sense does it? Logic says selling their products should be like shooting ducks in a barrel. There must be a stumbling block we’re all missing.
Could we get a two stage payment - 30p for what we know and then Xp contingent on subsequent events?
My belief has always been that they have a good product, they just need to sell more. The need for clean water around the world is huge. It should be like shooting ducks in a barrel. Obviously it isn’t, I suspect because of bureaucracy and local politics. The more they sell the more examples they will have to show prospective customers. Unless they start getting some momentum on the sales front it can’t be long before cash runs out and we either put our hands in our pockets for more shares or they increase their debt levels. Or the company folds. This can’t go on indefinitely.
Body language tomorrow will surely speak volumes, assuming there isn’t an RNS first thing.
Just to point out Sirius isn’t on AIM.
My head has been shaking that much in bemusement at this share in the last few years I think it’s about to fall off. Roll on the autumn and maybe we’ll get to some sort of a conclusion. No, wait, there’s still the SFO investigation to end as well isn’t there? I’ll go and buy me a neck brace.
