I’m not a deramper. Happy to stay in here and hope for continued rise. Just asking what some people might be thinking.
Thanks Rich
What do people think the effect on SNG will be if they find an effective vaccine. Breaking news on the Oxford trial is that it’s looking good. Time to sell now?
Maybe but I bet there’s a total block on travel from an expenses point of view let alone the obvious current travel challenges.
What were you saying keeptothefacts?
Jonrich , I’ve learned not to panic over the years. The fact is that no one knows what’s going to happen with this share. The drop is due to trader shenanigans and making novices like yourself react and sell their shares at a loss. It’s all been about the trial results which have always been scheduled for end June. What happens between when you bought and end June is akin to being in the Wild West. Best to close your eyes and open them when the results come out. If the results are bad the sp will drop anyway. If they’re good you’re in the money.
Surely only 9900 shares?
*none
No £2.63 would do it but that’s still a million miles from where we are now. Chances of it happening somewhere between slim and nine......and Slim us outa town.
One good thing to come out if this is that I will never ever be persuaded again by the likes of Chris Fraser and James Parsons (Sound Energy). Both extremely credible and persuasive. Both very very upbeat about their respective projects. Both said things I am sure they now wish they hadn’t. Both have ended up financially secure. Both probably unable to answer the question: “so is there anything you knew at an earlier stage that you think us shareholders would have liked to have known but weren’t told?”. My two biggest investments that looked so attractive. Two big losses. Two CEOs laughing all the way to the bank. And if CF says he isn’t laughing ...well, I’m afraid I don’t believe you anymore.
Can’t help thinking if it had been yes yes then we’d know by now. I’m guessing (guessing - I don’t know) that it’s either no no, no yes or yes no and they’re working on the wording of the RNS. Someone will have been asked to draft different versions so that shouldn’t be an excuse. That said all sorts of shenanigans will presumably be going on behind the scenes so wording may well still be in doubt. If it’s not published by 7am then things will become very interesting indeed.
How do you know - nothing on SM Website
The mine is too good an opportunity to pass up. The future value is huge and when it comes to it AAL won’t simply let it slip away for the sake of another 1.5p. The fact that the offer isn’t final gives them the wriggle room to up it. If they do they’ll have Odey onside which will probably persuade a fair few PIs to vote yes. If the offer stays as it is then potentially everyone loses. Yes, AAL could pick it up through the administration route but I can’t see that happening. This is all a bit too high profile and a higher bid will emerge.
Just had a call asking how I’m going to vote. Said I’m undecided. I’m very angry but a no vote feels like a turkey voting for Christmas unless there is genuine hope of an alternative and better solution. Would CF be recommending this deal if there was the possibility of something better?
Not sure what he’ll achieve at Ascent. Progress there has been completely held up by Slovenian politics.
People should go and see what Parsons achieved at Sound .....if my holding had any value I’d be running for the hills. Even JP can’t lose me any money here.
At this point I’d be happy to take a long term share of a minority interest of a profitable operation. He sounds plausible but then again I trusted JP for a long time. Inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt ....at least until 14th Feb anyway.
What’s driving this?
Looks like BM isn’t on the scene anymore. Officially leaving end March but probably not ev WCC n in the building now IMHO.
Can’t find any reference to SM on Twitter today.
